Assuming what the definition of success is to others outside of yourself is just weird to me.. having the freedom of not being bound by the limitations of a job is success enough for some people. Not everyone strives to be hamsters in wheels

@@jovictor9064 AKA "I dont have to shower anymore" I do not work because I enjoy working. I work because I enjoy what I can do with the money I make. Sleeping on concrete in the middle of a freezing winter or sweltering summer is not my idea of a good time, but you do you.

And FYI I took regular showers and ate pretty well for a 'homeless' person
Because they are a symbol of the law and the law tells us what we aren't allowed to do. Some people don't like being told what to do, then some people don't like these guys stopping them when they do something wrong. I respect and love the boys in blue, risking their lives daily to keep us safer.
That takes me back to my Garry's Mod days. Turn of the loudest most annoying siren as everyone huddles over the patient yelling at me to turn off my sirens. How about you get a hint and get out of the way so I can revive and treat the patient. My god when there was a body on the ground it was like wasps to a pile of meat and no one wanted to get out of the way.
