I am Japanese. Translated by Google.
In Japan, there are roughly two companies, Osaka Siren and PATRITE.
Basically, both manufacture both warning lights and siren amplifiers, but most police cars in Tokyo are made by PATRITE.
But recently, police cars and fire trucks equipped with WHELEN's warning lights are increasing outside of Tokyo.
If you want to find out more, please search for "siren amplifier" in Japanese. You can find a lot on youtube!

Well you also know that A. No American cops are not going to yell that through a PA system. B. America is a different place entirely the people are much more rebellious and aren’t as respectful as the Japanese, American police have to adapt to that. C. While Japanese police are unarmed and polite they also have a 99% conviction rate meaning you’ll most likely be sent to jail if you are arrested and you’re also guilty until proven innocent unlike the innocent until proven guilty system American law uses.

I'm surprised most of these emergency vehicles are equipped with very outdated technology. Halogen or xenon lightbars.
What little LED they have on their police cars are old low output diodes.
Even their newer motorcycles have those same ancient Halogen beacons on them.
Why is the Japanese police force using such outdated technology?
