That boat is going to need an immense cleaning and maintenance to get back to an acceptable standard to provide the quality of life you want.

Don't take this the wrong way but "this Is your baptism bye 🔥 fire. Be grateful for your Captain , who knows what he's doing. He's teaching you things so important that when you're all alone together, you'll all know how, what, where and when. You'll sail and navigate and resolve issues with the boat with out any questions. This trip is priceless, as is your Captain.

Hey, the chat n chill is famous. Just Remember when putting out your rode, it's the distance from the pulpit (bow deck)to the sea floor that determines your ratio, not your depth. Here's a tip for sleeping outside on a hot night, get a hammock with a bug screen built in, they're like $15. I'm guessing the forward head is the problem with the leaking water 😉. I'm happy you started to enjoy it. Not all boats are this bad lol, but she's been neglected for a long time.

I meant no disrespect or to be negative. I have sailed a crewed many even from Marina Del Ray to Hawaii. I was concerned about safety and just like when you take the RV out you make sure it’s safe before you hit the road. On the open ocean it can go wrong fast. I’m happy you guys are enjoying yourself. I enjoy your channel

@@Markpatrickrich For sure. Reality: The captain spent a full week fixing the boat that was supposed to be fixed, and once we got there we spent another 4 days.
It's just that exactly how bad the marinas repairs were wasn't fully evident till we were at sea and stuff started grenading.

Lol. Even the other crew calling out the over the top dramatics. “Rescued from a Dominican marina”. 😂More like, boat dragged totally unseaworthy and unprepared from a perfectly safe harbor. 🤦🏻♂️ Glad you survived but the only ones to blame are viewed in the reflection over the side. I’d say much of blame on the experienced captain but he’s taking it in stride and finding solutions not acting it out like a Spanish soap opera.
There's just something about a bunch of people complaining about how unfortunate they are to have a vacation that just ruins a moment. So sad to see you were stuck on a boat. On a beautiful ocean. With a beach right near by. So horrible for you. Travesty you don't have coffee or whatever else.
