My heart is breaking as I’m listening to this story. The resilience and strength she has and has had all through her life. To me, listening to these stories is something we need to do. We must know what happened and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you for sharing yourself so openly.
WOW what an experience to live through and tell a the story. Thank you. What a special man your father was. I feel for your mother, God loves your Mother too. How gracious you are. You have the right to be with your tribe.
This is what we save our tears for; Theresa’s story. The horrors of humanity. She is heroic in telling her story. I’m sorry, Teresa, for all the pain and suffering; the injustices upon your shoulders. Thrilled you found your way back to the Jewish community. I wish you had them after the war. I have a warm feeling for you - you look like my grandma. Shalom.
Thank you for sharing this. It should’ve never happened and you, as a survivor, of a most horrific time, may help to let the world to never forget & to be cautious that it never happens again. God Bless you Ms T
Thank you Theresa for your testimony. Grey hair really bothered your poor mum all her life didn’t it? We just can’t understand what you all went through. So sad. 🙏🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺
I know the mother was damaged by her experience, but I can't help but feel she also damaged her daughter. Many overcame their experiences and have led productive loving lives unfortunately some could not. So very sad.
It’s so sad that the Nuns from the convent only gave kitchen waste to a Jewish mother and her baby they saved, not even putting a new glass pane in the window in winter. After such not so decent treatment I wish her mother had not kept her promise and not raised her daughter Catholic. She only weighed 2 pounds as a 9-month baby. Her Father seemed like a sweet loving person. Her mother seemed like a difficult person. Attacking her for returning to Judaism was so hurtful but also a symptom of her Holocaust trauma.
this made me cry ,it's unbelievable the bravery of her mother ! it made me soo made to hear how the nuns treated them,so called religion yet again!! just a mind blowing story of the strength of a woman and her child x
You are so right: There is Someone above who loves you! Read the Tenach and see His Creation around you. He is able to save your sons too. Just praise Him. And I think your mother was a patiënt, while being a mother. Remember her with compassion as an ill person. You are one of G'ds chosen people: Be thankful for this. I wish you and your family all the best. May G'd bless you. In Jesaja 53 you can read about the Saviour of our world, despised by almost everybody, but He will reign in eternity. Thank you for your moving interview. From Holland with ❤
My dad did survive Auschwitz. His family did not. He came to Australia after the war and married my Mum. He never got over the war. He was 17 during the war. I thank all the Holocaust Survivors for telling their stories.
Being a Christain I have been tought to love Gods people the Jewish race. I dont have a clue why she wants to talk bad about Trump what did he do to her?

How heartbreaking. Such a wonderful woman.
After the war(in the 50s and 60s),nobody have to go to jail if he or she went to church.
I know it,because I was with mother.
Being a Christain I have been tought to love Gods people the Jewish race. I dont have a clue why she wants to talk bad about Trump what did he do to her?
Listen to what he and his people say about rounding people up and putting them in camps.
