Appreciate ya!
Great Video dude!!
I'm planning to buy a PC with "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060". But it comes with 144HZ Refresh Rate. Do you think 144 HZ is good for Video Editing? Please help
Awesome! I don't think it's necessary to edit with 144hz. Editing might feel more fluid though. It might be more interesting for gaming, but I think chances are small you will watch, or edit videos above 60fps. I do recommend getting a good monitor though, preferably with a 4K resolution. This way if you are editing 4K videos in the future, you can see every pixel. Good luck!
Just got the X470 MOBO and the Ryzen 3700X did you have any issues with the bios? Or did you buy it used or did the Retailer update for you?
Retailer updated it for me. You need a spare CPU if you want to update the bios urself.
I have the same config but with 2060super. The timeline with h264 and h265 hevc 4K file from gopro and mavic air aren’t smooth and I need to use proxies for a good editing workflow.
Wait, that's really weird. Which video editing software are you using?
How to Creative I use premiere pro but I try davinci and have same problems
For editing 4K RAW files (in Da Vinci Resolve) which are more than 1 hour duration, is 32 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz sufficient? Does it ran out of memory spare during editing or rendering?
Thanks in advance.
From my experience it is enough. But I think this also depends on the settings inside of Davinci Resolve.
@@felixkruip thanks for the reply...
That case is awesome dude, I think the i9 processor would have been a better option
Yea, I absolutely love the case. The i9 is a beast!
HowToCreative how is the pc holding up? Is it super fast and does premiere pro preview window play flawlessly?
@@insigniamediapro It is an absolute beast! 4K 10-bit editing on true resolution without stuttering. Coming from a Macbook that feels amazing! Actually, the last few weeks I've been spending a lot of time with Davinci Resolve. I must say, using the GPU, it works fantastic.
HowToCreative am just in the process of building one and that case which you have is on top of my list. It reminds me of a Mac type look 😀
Not for the money, the 3700x 8 core 16 thread is the better option by far.
Help please. What is a good already built budget desktop computer (for windows not apple) I can buy to do graphics design on.
For graphic design you don't need a heavy graphics card. Programs like Photoshop and Illustrator make heavy use of the CPU. A fast SSD will also certainly help working with documents. Take a look on pcpartpicker.com for some good prebuilds.
Premier pro is a software which uses much more cpu than gpu.. So can u pls explain why u went for a such a costly gpu rather going with a costly cpu like ryzen 9 3900x? Will cheaper gpu with 3 to 4gb vram will not work? It will be really helpful as i am going to build a pc..
That's true, but I'm mostly working with Davinci Resolve which mainly uses the GPU.
No front Intake fans? How are are the temps?
Quite good actually. I wanted to try without the intake fans first. It is doing surprisingly well. On idle around 50/55C for CPU and GPU. When doing the heaviest tasks never higher than 80C. I barely get the 75C+ warning.
My man, you should have shown us how LONG it takes to export a 4K project. My slowass 5-year-old PV takes 2 hours!
Lets say the timeline is 10 minutes with 10-bit 4K footage some effects and advanced color grade ... rendering the final video will be around 5 minutes. The editing is flawless in native resolution.
Nice presentation! However, when using e.g. Magix Video Pro X for video editing and 4k encoding (in H.265/HEVC), you must consider an Intel CPU WITH GPU. The software utilizes the GPU (via Quick Sync) for hardware encoding. Of course, the more cores and higher speed the CPU has (and more expensive), the better/faster it will get. The same goes for the graphics card. Buy a Nvidia card. Magix utilizes CUDA for hardware encoding. I have and older system and installed a $75 GTX1050 Ti. Encoding is now up to 6 times faster! So my suggestion to you would be: build an Intel/Nvidia system for the same budget and compare the editing/encoding speeds!
I would love to try that out. For now; Davinci Resolve EATS my edits. I love how it renders a 45-minute 4K video in 20 minutes. Whuttt? But yea, if I had the money I would definitely build an intel/Nvidia build and show the difference.
Hi Bro, I am a graphic designer doing Photo Editing, Video Editing, and After Effects. I am Learning 3d Animation Also, Kindly advise the Processor for my new PC build. I want to use After Effects, Premiere Pro, Autodesk Maya, Blender. i9-9900k or AMD 3900x...
That's awesome! Good job for learning all that. I would say for the programs you mention you would need both a good CPU and GPU. Premiere would be more CPU heavy, Maya more GPU, etc. I'm sure a lot of people know a lot more about this than I do regarding technical terms. However, I chose to go with the 3700x because of all the positivity around it. I learned that it is a bit better for video editing. However, the i9-9900k CPU is also amazing. Furthermore, I noticed that the RAM timings, motherboards are a bit different working with an AMD CPU. So, in the end, it is up to you what to choose. You can't go wrong with either one of these.
@@felixkruip thank you so much
Does it have thunderbolt 3 asking cause I'm looking for a build that can do video editing and support thunderbolt 3 for audio interfaces?
Phantomflowz almost every intel newer mainboard has thunderbolt 3, if you’re going amd, theres one x570 aorus board with tb3
built in, however its more than 500€ i believe. Fortunately you can use ANY asrock x570 board an add their tb3 extension card (about 80€) and get tb3 on amd for about 240€. All of the above will have the thunderbolt on the rear io tho, not on the front...

^ this. I would suggest getting a tb3 extension card, and get the best board for your specs.
video idea : make a custom keyboard
Awesome idea! I have been thinking about this actually. What would you like to see? Spoiler alert, video about my new mechanical keyboard coming out soon!
@@felixkruip I would like to see like the showcase of the keyboard and like the typing test and the info of the keyboard like the switches, the keycaps, and stuff.
1:59 its actually N 'zee' X T
Imagine using the stock cooler.
It's quite nice actually :)
are you from the netherlands? your accent sounds like it
*nod*
I’m about 3 min in, are you saying $2000 is a “budget” computer?
Hmm, maybe budget is not the right word...
Dude what about HOW IT RUNS???
What would you like to know about that? You mean frame rates? Ram timings? Render speed?
@@felixkruip yes, do some rendering or benchmarks
@@gplusgplus2286 Sounds good, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks for the suggestion.
"buying guide"
first thing to consider : case! whitey-ish , yeah coz white case can improve performance drastically
second thing : glass panel!
LOL
LOL, "AESTHETICS"
i think I've seen this knucklehead comment on others before. Always negative
Do you build desktops?
I do!
Well I'm looking to build the exact set up I'm taking a leap of faith and pursuing being the creative I've always been, I just don't have the money to buy a Macbook and I keep seeing people building laptops I want to start filming and making music on my desktop I really enjoy your simplicity and color . Is their some way we could communicate that's not so public ? I would love to have someone to build my setup.
Forgive my two accounts same person ^_^ oops

im out here making videos with an i3 9400f and a gtx 1650 LMFAO
Shouldnt make a guide when you know nothing about pc’s 😬
True. However, I do know a lot about PC's. It was only my first time building one :) Just like I have been spending a lot of time gaining knowledge about mechanical keybaords. Though, I haven't been able to build one. It's more an experience vs knowledge thing... But I get your point!
