Excellent video. I just did a small desk project and I started with Velcro and double sided tape, but ended with bar magnets. The desk is serving 2 laptops and Type C docking stations, plus power, network switch, HDMI matrix, etc. By using bar magnets, I can move things around and also replace them as needed without having to peel anything off.
Also grommets. A few well placed small grommets make it easy to route wires for things on the desktop. Used one for a sunken stainless steel drink holder, which will help with my clumsiness.
This is the most comprehensive desk set up / how-to I've seen and I've been browsing quite a lot. Thanks for the inspiration!

Last few days I've done quite a research for desks. I would advise you to either change the tabletop to a solid material (more expensive option and time consuming) or look for plates that you put under the monitor arms to relieve the centered pressure. I believe they called arm plates or desk monitor arm plates.

Great setup, wish I could get myself a sit and stand desk. But I've spent way too much this year already lol. The only thing I could suggest to upgrade is your CPU cooler. I suggest either a beefy air cooler or an AIO, either option would be great.

Not sure if anyone has suggested this yet, but a minor change you can make is to orient your secondary monitor upside down. This way, they middle bezel will appear a lot smaller. Also, the buttons (if they are on the bottom of the panel) will be easier to access. A small detail, but worth it in my opinion.
Depends on the monitor, Vertical viewing angles vary. I know my second monitor looks terrible if I flip it upside down.

Idee is misschien skatewieltjes onder je stoel, dat rolt lekker op harde vloer en zorgt dat het niet beschadigd.
Could add a computer holder for under the desk, to save even more space on the desk and for easier cable management.
Also have an Idåsen - the 120x70cm version, stacked monitors and speakers on stands. Getting the PC off the desk was a game changer IMO.

Very nice setup. I might have suggested a single vertical monitor stand instead of articulating arms. Much less expensive and less bouncy for an over/under setup.
U can go with an ARTURIA Minifuse 2 for the audio interface it is better than the focusrite and also cheaper as well as white in colour. I am currently using it. No issues and works perfectly.
I feel like a lot of people go either all black or all white with their setup but I love how this desk setup super nicely combines while not being too Storm Trooper ⚫️⚪️

I actually went vintage brown with mine this time and I'm really liking the look. It's different enough so that I don't feel like it's the same as all the years in the past.
People usually go for what is available. It's awful to buy ergonomic stuff like this, because they are usually meant for offices and they want to buy only basic colors and they can get free examples before larger order and stuff like that. Those are often way overpriced, because companies can pay those prices. Then we have cheaper copies, which doesn't have any quality control or important information for the buyer, so you must just do blind buy and you may end up with awful product. That's one reason people are not making their setup ergonomic and beautiful. The other reason is that people don't just care, which makes buying much harder for us who do care.

I'd change your tabletop ASAP. I have found the Ikea "cardboard" core desktops eventually fail.
I have a Micke Desk and after a year the top has compressed and warped where the monitor arm clamps down. There is a way to provide extra strength and that is by using some longer pieces of wood and sandwiching them between the clamp and underside of the desk to spread the weight. The trend with Ikea desktops seems to be purchasing the kitchen bench options, they're not all completely wood construction but have a woodchip sub-surface. Nice work! I'll definitely check out that LG screen.

Really nice video! I just got, 2 days ago, the same dual monitors arms as you for my (very similar) monitor setup (AOC ultrawide 34" and Samsung 27"). Stacked, with the ultrawide at the bottom.
I'm curious how you managed to tilt your ultrawide backwards, as my ultrawide keeps leaning down, regardless of how much I tighten the screw. It weights 8kg and the arm is rated for 9kg each. So I'm wondering if I got an arm with defects or if others used some tricks. Your feedbacks would be highly appreciated.

I am actually looking for a dual monitors arms for the same kind of setup, i have an lg-34wp65c-b (34"), and going to buy a 27" soon to stack it over like you did. When i click the link, on amazon, these dual monitors arms are written to be for 32" max. you didn't get any problems with your 34" screen ? Hello, it looks like you have choosen everything carefully and you have an excellent build in the end. Because of a review that i read i ordered DM1 speakers stands last week instead of yours which is DM4. It was saying that you can't move the plate horizantally when you put your speakers on it. So it means you can't adjust the perfect angle for your ears. But i am literaly shocked after i saw your setup. Because you actually have done it. :D I wonder how is it possible? I think i am somehow misguided.
Good point! I don't think it is fully supported, but I just rotated them just a bit, seems to work.
I have a very similar setup but my pc is on the floor. I have the exact same Monitor layout and hs7 Speakers. edit: YO I have the same brand monitors too but my 27 inch is LG Gp850 and the Aoc is the cu34.

I am planning on getting the same setup. 34” curved bottom and a top monitor. But does it make sense to make the top monitor too curved, maybe 27” curved? Any suggestions are welcome :):).
I need a dual monitor arm but am a bit afraid that your arms are not able to take two 34 inch monitors
what are the dimensions of your desk? I can't tell from just watching your video. That is a key detail most RUclips home office setup videos are leaving out so it leaves us wondering if we are going to be able to fit the same items ourselves depending on what size we end up getting.
