    I picked up one of these yesterday at my local Tractor Supply for $10 & decided to run some tests for everyone to see the performance that you can expect to see from the Little Big Shot Super Nozzle.
    I really like the fact that it is made in the USA, and also that it is made by disabled US Veterans! I think it is great that the company is going out of their way to employ our veterans & they are coupling that with a affordable quality product.
    Check out the review, and I think you will be impressed with the performance that they packed into the Little Big Shot Super Nozzle.
    Thanks for watching! :)

    Ill be honest, I've had mine for a couple years now and it has performed time after time. I actually find it the best nozzle I've ever had. Matter of fact, both Canadian and American firefighters use this as a mop tool and have been doing so for some years.

      Beware of where you buy this item. Amazon reviews saying it’s made in China. You may want to buy it else where. Shouldn’t be taking advantage of the veterans.

    Found I had one of these in my basement plumbing supply box, didnt remember I bought it. I looked it up on line and found your video for it. You answered every question that came into my head while watching your vid on how to use it properly. Kudos to you for doing that, it was actually refreshing to not have to do more research on a product. Ive watched many ‘how to’ vids and have always come away with a question or two not being answered, leaving me to do more searching on said product. But you nailed every aspect of this nozzle. If I could leave a rating for ya it would be 10++. Now if I could find something like this for every faucet in my house I would be set. LOL- Thanks very much.

    Excellent review. I bought mine yesterday. Worked great, then the 3 bearings fell out. If this happens to anyone else, you have to remove the green rubber insert, then feed each bearing to the holes through the inside of the nozzle, then replace the green rubber insert. (The insert holds the bearings in). I don't know why it happened, the bearings are at their loosest point when the nozzle is wide open. Otherwise good product.

    YOU CANNOT INCREASE YOUR HOUSES WATER PRESSURE WITH A NOZZLE!
    In a convergent nozzle, there is an increase in velocity and a decrease in pressure, but we know that pressure is inversely proportional to area. ... A nozzle is a spout on the end of a hose or pipe used to control the movement of a fluid like water .

    I can see where the nozzle has it's uses for general around the house use and places where a volume of water with a bit of pressure might be useful. The pressure test you completed in a static pressure test. A flow test is quite different. For instance, here at my place, I have a flow pressure of 80PSI through a 1/2 nozzle. As for serious pressure washing, this does not compare with an actual pressure washer. We use a Hotsy 3500PSi gas heated pressure washer, it is much much different. Even your Homedepot 2600 to 3000PSI pressure washer will perform differently. I can however see where this tip might be more useful on a garden hose vs a standard hand trigger nozzle.

  • @DBYNOE
    @DBYNOE 5 лет назад +3

    I'm a bit suspicious of the verasity of that "assembled by" claim, I hope it's true. In any event one reason the unrestricted hose delivers such a weak stream is because the pressure drop through the hose. If you could put a tee connected gauge at the hose end we could see how the pressure goes up and down with and without the nozzle's effects. Many of us are jealous of your 140+ psi connection 😎

      @J__C__ 6 лет назад +1

      I thought so, too. Even using the same color rubber/silicone insert. Wouldn't be surprised to learn they're both made at the same place and rebadged. It happens all the time with automotive parts, for example. It's called "private label", where they produce the same product with no visible markings and let the 2nd company rebox them with their brand name.
      For example, Morel Lifters are considered some of the best valve lifters on the market. They sell their lifters under the private label to other companies, such as Erson, who then put their own name(s) on the box. As an example, Morel sells their Black Mamba lifters under their private label to Erson PBM. Erson sells them as their own Erson PBM Black Magic lifters.

    Can you provide additional info on the high-pressure pump you have there? I'm assuming you're on a well system, does this mean you have 2 pumps? One for the home and another for the garden?
    I'm also on a well, but my spigots are connected from the pipes within my home and their pressure is at 40psi (like yours). Getting 100+ PSI to my outside spigots (and future sprinkler system) would be an absolute dream.

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  Год назад

      It’s municipal water. That spigot was plumbed between the meter and the house, so unregulated pressure. Once the supply comes inside and goes through the regulator, it drops to normal pressure through the other lines.
      So…..turn your meter off……T in a freeze proof spigot between the meter and the house……turn meter back on. Instant unregulated pressure at the pump!

    I just got home with one of the Little Big Shot Super Nozzle. $10 at the local Big Box store. Nice idea, poor execution. I got this thing out of the package and couldn't even get it to thread on to my garden hose. The connection threads are way rough and all jacked up. I noticed even before I tried to thread it on my house that the adjustment barrel on this thing would not turn by hand, at all. So, I got a pair of pliers to get the unit threaded on my hose, I needed to get a 2nd pair of pliers on it to break the barrel free of it's threads and bearing so it would turn, even a little. So now I'm making my 3rd trip to my garage for a tube of Flitz and some gun grease. After monkeying with it with a gob of Flitz on all the threads and bearing surfaces, I got it to where it will thread on to my hose and adjust the spray pattern by hand. Barely. Anyony with arthritis or fibromyalgia or other hand, arm or shoulder problems could never use this thing, it turns so hard and rough
    Great design, solid materials but EXTREMELY poor execution resulting in a $10 product that a I'm extremely disappointed a pointed in.

    • @RealToolReviews

      Andrew X It would depend on how much water pressure you have....most likely not. You would be a lot better off using a $5 metal paint scraper from Lowes if it is just a small job & then sand it smooth with a sanding block. But, then again...for $10 for one of these nozzles, the risk really isnt that high ;) Might be worth a try anyway!
