Yay. Mr Neck is back. Yay woop yay. Always enjoyed your vlogs sir. Some of the best photography on RUclips. And always so relaxed. Please let there be many more
Wow, what a pleasant surprise to see you back again. So happy that you and Val are still boating, and hope it won't be quite so long until the next episode.
A question I'm often asked is would you move back to dry land. My reply is that the only way you'll get either of us back into bricks and mortar is if we can't manage the boat due to mental or physical incapacity. So yeah, still boating and hopefully another Weaver vlog soon.
After watching vlogs for a few years, many on the Anderton lift and subsequently the Weaver I must admit that's the best one I've seen look forward to the next two and welcome back.
Hi Andrew & Val. Hope you are both well and happy or at least content. Have you been sitting alongside in some backwater? Nice informative vid really enjoyed it. Take care Admiral Groggy and best mate. X
@@patriciahodgson4188 Hello Admiral Groggy! Great to hear from you. Yes we're both very happy thanks, and been taking care of boaty maintenance on a few backwaters. Retracing steps back to Yorkshire later in the so-called summer. Hope you and Pat are keeping well.
Hi Andrew and Val it's soooo great to see you vlogging again I have missed your vlogs I hope your both ok and having some happy cruising despite our weather
@@talesfromtheswansneck in some ways I'm glad my boat hasn't got massively hot in the summer heat with two dogs onboard before I can get my solar Aircon unit installed next month
@@talesfromtheswansneck oh my house finally sells next month then the following month I'm having a brand new solar system installed which will all work on a smart touch screen and produce 1250 watts and have a huge inverter , I'll also be having the galley in the middle of the boat ripped out and a log burner installed then the stern cabin will be ripped out and a new large 8ft long galley with worktop either side will be installed and I'm having someone hand craft some bespoke oiled wooden doors for the bow and the stern doors and stern bulkhead and interior of the side hatch so she'll be a completely different boat and I'm having a professional sign writer hand paint a new sign on both sides of serenity so I'll have to upload a RUclips vid of her once the work is done and paste the link to you and yeah don't ask how much its going to cost but it's in the region of a manageable heart attack price 😂😂 but well worth it serenity will be a very unique girl when she's finished
Hi Andrew, great vlog thanks. I happened to watch a 2014 film about South Cerney Steam today and it sounds like your commentary? Hope you are both well. NB Waggy Tail
What a wonderful life Andrew ...That must be your docu-voice ..cannot remember your speaking voice being so Johnny Morris years back! Well done for getting out of the rat race
You mean to say that I didn't sound like Johnny Morris when addressing Ellington the one-eyed greyhound... well, I'm assuming I've got the right Glynis here, as I think I've only ever met one. Yeah thanks, it's a brilliant way of life, so much freedom, wouldn't swap it for the world. Hope you're keeping well.
@talesfromtheswansneck nope not a bit ...but I do remember that you accepted that she was a beaut of a dog ...you were always really good at telling tales ...Val seems lovely. .I wish you love and light...and many more fabulous tales to tell.
Not sure the statement about hazardous waste being stored in Winford salt mine is correct. I understand that it is used for storing documents only. Feel free to correct me.
You may be right Mike, but according to my research hazardous waste is kept there too. Maybe they don't add to what is already there, or maybe they just don't want to broadcast its presence, or maybe what I read was just Internet misinformation...
