8 scones
310g(2 1/2cups) all-purpose flour
6g(3/4tsp) salt
1g(1/4tsp) ground black pepper
6g(1 1/2tsp) baking powder
70g(1/3cup) light brown sugar
115g(1 stick / 4oz) unsalted butter (cold)
1 egg
120g(1/2cup) plain yogurt
30g(2Tbsp) milk
130g(4.5oz) mild cheddar cheese*
100g(3.5oz) sliced ham
100g(3.5oz) scallions 쪽파
(You can add ~50g(1~2oz) more or less)
1. Grate the mild cheddar cheese, chop sliced ham and scallions.
2. Put the all-purpose flour, salt, ground black pepper, baking powder, light brown sugar, and unsalted butter in a bowl. Combine with using a scraper / fork / or your fingers until the mixture comes together in pea-sized crumbs, the texture is like wet sand.
3. Add egg, plain yogurt, and milk, then mix together until half of the dry ingredients are moistened.
4. Put grated cheddar cheese, chopped ham, and scallions. But don’t put all of them, save 1~2Tbsps each for the last touching. Using hand or spatula, fold until no flour is seen. Mix less as you can. Chill in the fridge about 30min ~ up to 24 hours.
5. Preheat the oven for 200C / 395F. Flatten the dough, about 3~5cm(1~2inch) thickness. Using a knife or scraper, cut the dough into 8 slices. Place scones on a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle some saved cheddar cheese, ham, and scallions. Bake for 18~20min, until golden brown. Eat before completely chilled.
*If you're using normal cheddar cheese, reduce the salt to 1/2 tsp.
*More fold you do, gluten disturbs crispness of scone.

이거 에어프라이어로 해봤어용!
저는 파에서 물이 너무많이나와서 반죽이 엄청 끈적해져서ㅜㅜ 밀가루를 한참 더넣었어요 재료 물기빼서 넣으면 좋을거같아요ㅜㅜ
그리고 에어프라이어로 할때 반죽이 끈적하니까 밑에 종이호일을 깔아줬는데 나중에 보니 위에는 넘 많이 색이 나고 밑부분은 색이 거의 안난...! 중간에 한번 뒤집어주심 색 엄청 이쁘게 나올거같아용 맛은 진짜 인생스콘입니다 저는 너무 딱딱한 스콘을 싫어하는데 제 반죽이 물이 많아서 그런지 완전 촉촉하고 부드러우면서 결은 살아있네요 짱좋은레시피 감사합니다♥
헛 저는 쪽파를 사용해서 그런지 제 쪽파가 이상한건지 물이 별로 안나오는 편이었어요😭 전혀 끈적한 레시피가 아닌데😢😢 그래도 맛있게 드셨다니 다행이네여!!❤️
다음에 혹시 또 만드신다면 기름 안두른 팬에 파를 가볍게 볶아 수분을 제거 한 다음 만드시는걸 추천해요🥰🥰

네! 소금은 1작은술로 넣어주시구, 치즈끼리 너~무 달라붙는다 싶으면 밀가루 소량을 살짝 뿌려서 덜 달라붙게하는것도 팁이에용 :)
이거 맛있는데...ㅜㅜ 체다대신 모마렐라로 해도 스콘 모양이 나오긴 할까요? 🤔집에 모짜렐라 뿐이어서요;;;
모짜렐라치즈보다 체다치즈가 훨씬 짭쪼름한 맛이 있는 편이라 크게 추천은 하지않지만, 만드신다면 소금을 조금 더 추가하셔야 할거에용! 1 1/4tsp 정도 추천드려용 :)

Your scones look very nice which attracts me to make it last night but my scones are not as nice as yours. I put the dough into the fridge until this morning and cut into pieces and bake for 20mins at 200°. I can see little layers but not obvious although I folded them for 4-5 times. Would it be putting the dough in the fridge for too long? Do you know why?
I think you might have over-kneaded it or over-crushed the butter. When mixing the scones, try leaving smaller chunks of butter because that is the one that gives the flakes.
You need to bake scones right away. You cannot put them in the fridge overnight. If you can’t bake right away, you need to cut the scones after mixing then freeze and bake frozen. Or you can mix everything except the liquid and keep that in the fridge. Then when ready to bake preheat your oven, and when hot, add the liquid, cut and bake.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. Lower the heat and bake longer than the recipe until fully baked 😢

Of course, you can reduce the amount of sugar. But it was fine for me and my friends :)
