    One tip, collect more firewood than you need. Might have time to dry inside before the snow comes.
    Don't want to end up buying firewood at a store, that becomes expensive very fast :).
    Looks like a cute little house though! Can probably do some ice skating on that lake if it's far enough north.

      True, we will do an assessment after a few weeks. But there are neighbors in the village that have big supply for sale of (mostly) dry wood at a good price luckily. :)

    Many summer cottages have guest cottages because you often spend time with friends in the summer.

      That and the regular cottages don´t seem to allow for too much privacy.. :D

    In Sweden, it is compulsory by law to have winter tires fitted to cars in the period 1 December to 31 March. You will soon find out why! 😎

    The flaps are probably for ventilation during moist seasons. The owner should know. But I am guessing you close them when it is cold and dry out.

    What a super cute house!!! And property! I sure hope you can stay warm when winter sets in!
    And... happy snow shoveling. It looks like you have options as to how to do it..
    Is that a double bed in the shed??

      It is! :) And yes, so far we´ve been nice and cozy once the stove is burning. Haha, yes, 3 snow shovel devices.
      And no, just a single in the shed.

    Is Kevin really coming? I kind of assumed you killed him and moved there to hide out. I guess we'll find out soon!
    Put a pillow under that hanging chair, so when the rope eventually breaks and you fall on your ass at least you won't break anything on yourself :p
    I don't really know anything about crawlspaces under a house, but I'm guessing the last time someone that knew what they were doing was there, it was summer. The flaps may have all been left open for ventilation so the house doesn't overheat.

    • @lisasomewhere88
      @lisasomewhere88  Год назад +3

      Haha, he´s here and very well alive! :P Yeah, if we use the hanging chair much still, that´s a good idea!
      And the flaps - I doubt that this house would overheat much in this climate, but some ventilation of some sort, yeah. Just not sure what´s best for the winter..
