    Hello.
    Very first thing I did before using my unit was to make aluminum 'shields' that I formed over the inside panels_ VERY little clean-up afterwards! Sure I have to spend money on the roll of aluminum, but I usually just keep the 'shields' for several cooking sessions, and THEN throw them away when they get looking really yucky - lol. :-)

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  5 лет назад

      Hi Michel. I considered using aluminum foil to keep the inside clean but the instructions say not to do that. The foil could cause it to overheat.

    • @michelj.gaudet5048
      @michelj.gaudet5048 5 лет назад

      Instruction? You read INSTRUCTIONS?... lol JK! :-D
      Yep, that's what it says, but by just using a bit of common sense, like making slits for the cooling vents, and other such 'stuff', I really have good results. I just make sure to allow for the ventilation.
      My main gripe is there isn't too much you can do regarding the glass; still gonna get food splatter. Crud!
      I enjoy your channel and as long as you provide 'DA CONTENT', I will remain loyal - well, until You Tube lays some more 'crap' on us,
      Hope this is your BEST YEAR EVER, sweets.@@sweetsavant

    Great video i love Korean BBQ I'm deciding between this grill and a few others available in the UK, Can I ask what a SOS pad is? I don't think we have them here. We do have a product which alot of people swear by stardrops called 'the pink stuff' it's a paste that alot of people use for tough stains on pots and pans, you can pick it up for £1

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  5 лет назад +1

      Korean BBQ at home is so much fun for the whole family. We have a good time preparing and cooking together. An SOS pad is an abrasive cleaning pad, used for household cleaning, and made from steel wool saturated with soap.

    • @sweetsavant
      @sweetsavant  5 лет назад

      Hi John. I'm sad that I had to disable the comments on the Smithy cast iron pan video as well. I was getting some very rude comments and it was getting to be a bit much. I don't mind if people disagree with me but I won't stand for disrespectful comments. Clearly, the pan had some defects as shown in the video and at that price point it's absolutely unacceptable. Thanks so much for watching
