@@dj.josette No joke. Compare a German TDI - motor with a French HDI - motor. The HDI has much more march-through - strenght and makes not so much noise like the rough TDI - motors. I prefer French cars.
Why haven’t you used 6th gear …..? You could have reached over 200 km/h ….! You kept it locked in 5th and that my friend was the best the car could do in 5th !

I must say it was a bit of a lucky circumstance, but I have done 215 in a 308 wagon with the same engine while seating 4 people with luggage.
I'm surprised that THP even started, let alone survived being revved or driven on its top speed..

To guess the power of a French car, I take the German equivalent and subtract 30 PS or HP, it always works.
Thats FALSE, French cars, especially Peugeot are much powerfull than German cars!

@@joeblack6060 just an example, let's compare the Golf with the 308. The most powerful HDi is 130 PS, whilst the most powerful TDI is 200 PS.

No, there is an issue with the engine. It got a new timing chain. Maybe they fixed something wrong.
