depends on the person some ppl thrive off of it. I know a family of lawyers who went through law school smoking daily and still lawyers and still smoking alot. some people need it for meds some ppl just need it cause they think more clearly off of it. it's really situational. it's more that weed makes you need to use more of ur will power.

Dude those words are powerful I'm so tired of smoking 3 to 4 blunts a day it has also been a crutch 4 me the last 3 years every day all day. This Sunday I said no more I stopped went 72 hours with out but I have PTSD, paranoia with physcotic tendencies, crippling depression disorder, sever panic attacks, and the worst case of insomnia. In the last 72 hours I got 6 hours of sleep so I went back only this time there's a limit I only smoke a little bit be4 bed like right be4 and just enough to get me tired not super high. I'd rather smoke a little bud then to take sleeping pills they prescribed to me. Am trying to learn to go threw out the day with out it hard tho but it's been 4 days with only smoking be4 bed. At that I'm supposed to be taking 3 pills a day 1 for sleep, a anti psychotic, and anti depression. I think a lil bit of bud at the end of the day is better 4 me it puts me to sleep

Cum1n_0n_y0_t1tz361 blazin420 sorry but im trying to be more than just another number at these sleezy jobs that dont care about you.. im looking to be a alpha and an example of Christ... so that comes with taking responsibility. Moderation with it is cool but for me ive been smoking too long non stop lol. I wouldn't say weed itself is addicting but the high it gives is & it does throw off ya focus. How long have you gone without smoking weed and doing your best compared to smoking and still doing ya thing? I bet the results would be drastic... if you cant go without 6 months+ of it and do it moderately (twice a month) ...then my friend you may just be confused on what addiction is lol. But in the end everyone struggles and do things a different way. So If what ya doing works and your satisfied with life, then keep doing it.

Amen. This is what happened to me. I had started smoking when I was 16 and smoked on and off till 22. At 22 I received a clear message from God that if I wanted to fulfill my purpose on Earth then I needed to stop smoking and drinking. It was preventing me from thinking clearly and it kept my mind clouded from receiving divine guidance. I love weed, but I wasn’t functional. I slept, ate, and was idle for the most part. I’m now 25 & still haven’t smoke. My mind is so clear. I love it. Thanks for sharing! You are the only person who has received this kind of message like I have

What a powerful lesson to learn at age 11. My mother had the opposite approach and completely lost her shit when I got busted smoking weed lol. I can totally resonate with using Mary Jane as a crutch, as I’ve had a love/hate relationship with weed for many years now. I’m slowly letting it go, but man does life get so much better when you learn to be in your own body and not have an external vice. But weed is a seductive trickster by nature and can lure you in very easily if you’re not careful :P 😂

    • @mikael8864

Your Mate Tom weed had been a really awesome teacher spiritually for me, but when I'm in the "weed fog" It's hard for me to not touch the shit haha! I smoke it until I have nothing left, which is why I'm letting it go for now, It's holding me back more than it helps me atm. 😅

      @sterlthepearl1000 6 лет назад +8

Everyone is mediated on something. And the external vice doesn't have to be unacceptable in society to be a drug. There are many of them that can be used as a drug that happen to be legal like food, television and the internet.

Carlos Penaloza You’re not alone. I still haven’t found the strength to quit. All I can say is if abstinence is the goal, keep trying until you achieve it. Something I’ve been doing lately is making a list of all the things I could buy instead of buying a bag of weed. Also replace statements like “I wish I was a stronger person” with “I AM a strong person” “I CAN stop smoking weed” & “I AM going to stop smoking weed and the benefits of doing so are....” if I don’t know one thing I know for certain that thoughts & emotions create reality. Have faith in yourself, never feel bad about where you are on your journey, & if you ever fall get back up and keep it moving! With patience, persistence, and dedication we’ll get there eventually just trust the process!

I just stopped almost 3 weeks ago...like yourself I started the journey within with plant medicines as well...Aya...San Pedro...Shrooms...Hapi'...and I noticed smoking weed was doing NOTHING for me anymore! My soul said I'd passed that level. I also noticed I couldn't recall my dreams on weed. When I stopped not only was my dreams clear, but during meditations I could astral travel easier and see crystal formations in my 3rd eye. I was told by my higher self that I didn't need it....I have NO addiction side effects either. I don't knock it for other's I just do what's right for me like you said. 🙏🙏🙏🙏💯👑

I accidentally clicked on this video, and your intro got me to stay and watch! Recently I've noticed so many new possibilities of great people I could and should be surrounded by, and now I am thinking about what I need to let go of so that I can attract those people and possibilities in life towards me. My first thought is that I am holding on to the old me. The person that people thought I was, and the person who let other people's perspectives on him dominate his own view of himself. So now I am working on letting go of that person, and looking myself in the mirror to not only acknowledge my vices and ways of seeking shelter in my comfort zone; but after watching this I am inspired to take action on LETTING GO of all those things that don't serve me, no matter how comfortable they make me. Thanks for making this video, it was dope! Bless up!!! 100.

It used to be a part of our get together, a Spanish tradition, but I’m glad that I’m no longer a slave to it. That’s my power. I can say no when offered. Now I have to work on alcohol, specifically wine. I call it my relaxer after a hectic day, but maybe replacing that with the beach or meditation might be the replacer. I love this transmission. I love holding my power. Blessed Love/Ebs

What I took note of is weed made me less productive. While studying I noticed that I was much more productive and concentrating wasn't so hard when I stopped. Yes it heightened my senses but the downside was I became unmotivated while intoxicated by weed.
I respect how your dad dealt with you in terms of you getting busted. My mom caused a scene as she was shouting at me. The entire neighbourhood was alarmed and came asking what the commotion was about. I was so embarrassed that I did not come out for like a week.
Big ups to your dad though, when I become a parent I'd love to have the same characteristics when dealing with issues such as this one & others. I appreciate the wisdom shared on the video, thank you

Well Said. I’m coming from a different perspective: over the last ten years I have very slowly reduced the amount to the point where there is hardly anything there, by any other smokers standards. The less I have, the reverse of tolerance happens. People I know who smoke and who don’t remember their dreams.....my dreams are so strong. Recently I had a week off from smoking and my dreams were so strong it was shocking! So, I’m still smoking. I always have the first part of the day without.....then, somewhere between mid afternoon and late evening, I’ll smoke. Sometimes I’m getting great insights, other times it feels like I’d have been better not to have bothered.
What I’m saying is this: be playful with whatever habits you have. I’m on my way out of smoking, just taking my own sweet time, is all.....

Weed is medicine unless you really need it, it shouldn't be a daily routine or habitual in any way. If you use it recreationally once in a while you won't have a tolerance it will actually be better. It's all about a good balance. If you don't have a reason to be smoking it you probably shouldn't be. Weed is not for everyone. For some people it just does not work others can be super productive taking care of multiple things.

You are blessed for having such a wise father. And I encourage everyone to take a brake from smoking weed. It clears your mind and soul. Dont quit it for good. But take a break every now and then.

So glad I started smoking weed regularly in the last 2 years (I'm 50) instead of starting REAL young like lots of you who got addicted. I only need it every night after work and it completely relaxes me and one gram lasts me 3 weeks. I love going to bed happy every night. It's beautiful. And yes I'm high right now. :o)

@Curtis Jones Jr. I use a little bong and take a hit or two and drink a beer and man it makes me feel good. I work with some potheads and when I told them how long a gram lasts they literally burst out laughing lol

@KC 21 Nope not addicted. I know people who smoke morning noon and night and also at work. One puff and a beer helps me relax and sleep like a baby and that's what I like. If you see it as an addiction, so be it. I also take vitamins and supplements every day to feel better, so I'm sure you think that's an addiction as well. To each his own....

Whats up man. I'm 25 with a 9 month old son and I have been smoking everyday for nine months. I asked God to show me whether or not I should quit... then out of nowhere I became allergic to weed and broke out in hives every time I smoked 🤷🏻‍♂️The part with your dad being a leader resonated in my soul

I smoked weed regularly almost daily for over 25 years and I'm 39 now. I quit 2 months ago, I had gradually begun lowering the amount I smoked and introduced visits to the gym to replace the sometime I smoked weed. I loved weed, but I realised that gradually over time it was effecting my mental health. Not in real crazy ways I was still able to hold down a job and function in society but I was much less sociable, less confident and my lung health was not as good as it should be. I think as I got older I became aware of the small but important effects it has had on my life, I drifted away from family and friends, lost close bonds I once had, I became paranoid and lost a lot of self confidence and self esteem. However I have remained positive, I did continue to work throughout this period and now I have NOT smoke for more than 2 months and to be honest I don't miss it, im glad I stopped and wish I had sooner. Physical excersise gives me the same high now and I don't need weed to get uplifted from life.
I will smoke again but I will never do it regular until I have retired from work and achieved everything that I want too.

I had a similar experience. The first time I smoked weed was 12 and my older brother was 15, smoking regularly and i saw how it impacted his motivation in school. I smoked maybe 4 or 5 times from 12 to 13 and the last time I smoked was 13 years old. I never smoked in high school or college because I thought it would ruin my motivation with school and sports. After college I tried it while living in the virgin islands, panama, israel, Egypt, Thailand, Nicaragua, India, south Africa and turkey. Just a few times in each country besides India was like one or twice per week. When I returned home to Sonoma county, CA at 25 years old I hit a quarter life crisis around several personal items and used weed as a big coping mechanism. I smoked regularly off and on until I was in my late twenties and during that time had big dreams with no consistency and follow through. At 30 years old I fell in love and opened my heart to a woman for the first time. The woman I will spend the rest of my life with had her own business and was focused, everything I wanted to be. I knew I needed to stop weed to level up and produce on earth like her. For the last three years I haven't smoked and now i run my own company while caring after our baby most of the week and am making more in one month than I did in an entire year before we met.

You are incredible. I feel very grateful for coming across your video. I have been a ganja smoker for over 10 years and realised how I have been abusing the plant. I am ready to stop. I have been trying for a few days now and find it sooooo tough. Your video certainly helped with the motivation. Thank you

Absolutely perfect timing however I’m nervous to take the leap of faith. I can’t seem to get over that fear. I chose to give up alcohol but switched to smoking weed. I haven’t been able to break my nicotine addiction either. I’m struggling but Blessing to all. Tomorrow is a chance for change!

I've been smoking for since I turned 16; now 22, I can clearly see that weed hasn't enhanced my life nearly as much as it diminished it. And if I was to answer your dad's question, I would've told him I don't really want to be like them. I want to be in the position where I can take care of the people I love, and to find what real happiness is for my life. I've been struggling staying away from drugs, marijuana has been an emotional crunch for me, your video really inspired me to give my self permission to finally let go of the things holding me back, and to relearn what real "fun" is, and to finally face the parts of myself I've been ignoring.
