Yo syn theres a tip on taming them that is a lot easier and cheaper. Just pick them up with your wyv or argy and drop it in water and then u will be able to tame them without them hurting you🙏🏽
The melee stat for the Arthropleura won’t matter so much in pvp: people bring them in after they’ve won because its cheaper than c4, so it will be nice to have high melee, but not game breaking
@@vtmastre3 It is used a lot, but the higher melee will only make it faster at destroying. It might get used more, but mostly the amount of time spent destroying structures doesn’t matter because the defenders are offline or defeated

Syntac, for athropluera, place a foundation, and then on each side of the foundation go up 3 walls, use an argy to pick it up, then drop it in there, then it won’t agro even without bug repel
@Bradley Tikka on the center there’s a lava cave where you need nothing at all to tame them except their taming food cuz they don’t aggro you you unless you attack them, no matter how close you get
I've had a thought. You mentioned Mantis and I think they can gather Element from the Extinction veins, I'm not sure if melee effects the gather but it's worth testing with mutations
@@sirdwarvenhine1147 better yet transfer the mantis and pick to a genesis server and use the mantis on the element shard crystals in the volcano. i guarantee you could get maybe 500+ element worth of shards just bring a gasbag or something else with a lot of weight to hold it all and a giga or something to kill all of the magmasuars

@@Random-sq2cy The arthropleura was technically an armored centipede, It had large boney plates along its entire (I guess you could say spine in a sort) which made it quite durable and invulnerable to a large proportion of dinos.
F for the 168 he missed at the start, btw I think centipedes are rad! I thought they bit to inject venom but those “fangs” they have at the front are actually modified arms, cool innit? Edit: oh dang some minutes later he found the 168 again nvm lol

I built mine for around 600$ initially (with no experience in computers at all, RUclips was my friend) and I still have that pc 4 years later with only a few part upgrades. It is seriously worth it tho. The amount of flexibility pc has over console in a lotta games I play is fantastic.

Syntac!! Use Kentrosaurus (I think I spelt that right) to Destroy enimes BC they do percentage damage. They are sooooo op and can kill like a lvl 999999999 brood mother in like a hit but you need like ten and only ten and u can breed them easily with your breeding thing.
You should have a pit where you just have a bunch of arthros that you can just drop creatures into and have a bunch of arthros spit at them. You can call it... the spit pit

2 things 2. You can get aberant arthro on eldritch ilses 2. You did not need ghille and bug repellent just pick it with your wyvern and drop it in the sea and it will not agro
The Arthro most likely won’t get to much of a nerf if any at all, Arthros are primarily used after the raid is won to open vaults and tear down walls. The only time an Arthro may be used during raid is when turrets are set to player only and the Arthro can be whistled upon the tower uncontested, however if the raid is online this can easily be shut down.
I think it would be really cool if you tamed and bred the ark additions dino's. I was looking for a concavenator taming video and I couldn't find any. Same for the cryolophosaurus. And mutations on those would be really cool.
Syntac did you know big repellant stops creatures attacking you entirely unless they accidentally hit you but they can agro onto tames that aren't bug repellanted
I think death worms got a debuff or something because I’ve find them pretty easy to kill. I’ve used 3 rexes and a thyla, and sometimes just a thyla to kill them.
Fun fact - most living centipedes are carnivores and most millipedes are herbivores. Arthropleura is actually thought to also be a (terrifying) herbivore
I just found this out even though it’s obvious but you can use Magmasaurs to take out the Dodorex as they are immune to all burn damage. (Hint Hint Magmasaur Army?)
Heyo! Official pvper here with 3k hours. In terms of arthros, I wouldn’t say they will be overpowered. I mean sure they’ll be better at clearing metal buildings, but if they get shot by turrets once it’s over. They take boosted damage from projectiles
the arthro will prob not get nurfed as it is only really used after raids on vaults and unless there are no turrets on the base it wont be useful on actual base raiding so if it has massive amounts of mele it will only make braking vaults quicker and not much else

I'm able to tame them with 200 movement speed and a ghille suit. Don't need repellant

Yeah they still can if they have a pickaxe, and yeah melee dmg does effect on the harvest as well as the %dmg on the pickaxe

By the way arthros are millipiedes which means they mostly eat plant matter (Ark didnt give them the proper diet)

If you get an asendent sword blue print you could mutation stack mantis and use them for bosses
Millipedes tend to have more legs and most aren’t poisonous while centipedes are the opposite.
They aren’t carnivorous and some are venomous, not poison

You should try farming tek Dinos for metal, electronics and oil it’s a pretty easy way to get tons of electronics which is time consuming to craft
