Honestly, I think having an unchanging base makes the mutations pop allot more, having a pink and bright yellow rex is interesting, but at a certain point it just starts to look too weird. But with the deinonychus there's always that base gray skin and the mutations are just highlights, so the mutations look cool, but the creature still looks realistic
Tbh I've never really liked insane looking mutation on things like rexes. I like the dark blues, dark red, etc. But when a rex becomes a bag of skittles, it looks blah. I like bright mutations on things like Deinos and Rock Drakes tho. (Even tho Drakes can't breed, I use the DinoPaint mod 😉)
Syntac, I dare you to make Jerboa mutations a private project - start a line where, even after this series ends, you bring a breeding pair with you to a private/the new server and see just how powerful you can get a Jerboa to actually be as a background/side project.

I am so excited you showcased the little "Dbirds". We have been working on these for a while and have managed to get 5500 health, 925, stam and 232 weight at hatch. We have leveled them up to 10 k health and 2k stam and our plan is to do the Alpha Dragon with these guys. We have never really used them before and took them to the desert to level them and we discovered that they are op as hell and so much fun. Nothing survives them, even alpha death worms!!
Syntac, you might not see this comment but I see that you are interested in egg hatching. A really good way to hatch them especially in the valguero map is by crafting four stone fire places. Place some foundations. Then place down two on the front and one on each side. This makes it 3x faster, not much, but it'll help out. Place like this: _ _ ' ' (P. The skin can actually sort of change! But it’s more like the scales on the body. I got one with red scales, so it had red on the head, feet and arms. But it’s only some scales that will get colored, so hmmm. Not sure xD But it is possible to get different colors on the feet/arms and head
You should name the main Deinonychus you're gonna be riding on "Infrared", since they look like the colors you'd see in an infrared thermometer or something.

Hey syntac. Region 5 is on the feet feathers. There’s an extremely thin line near the tips of them and that’s all that the region is. It’s so minuscule.
one thing you could do to keep one of them higher lvl than the rest would be to breed on another random mutation just to make its max lvl 2 higher than the rest. also something to keep in mind for when you get a finalized pack after intensive breeding haha
I do something along those lines with my deinos, except I mutate the 20m/20h onto all and then 20 stam onto the one I ride. Keeps them nice and separated in level but also of the same attack strength
Yo Syn! You know you can claim hatched dinos with the soul gun? Without having to manually click each one. You can also pick up “item cache” bags with the soul gun. Like this so he can see!
It wouldn’t be really possible because he normally does a tame a vid (a diff species tame a vid) so it would be very very hard to and quite boring just taking like araneos and onycs coz they’re not really good
He started doing that more or less in the last cluster but we know how that went. He tamed Onyc and Araneo. I dont remember if he went for another obscure tame.
I don’t know if it’s a bug. Those cave drops will spawn two times in a row every time.. After, there’s around a two hour cool down. A Seriously OP loot spot

my pack of deinonychus have a base stat of 4k health and 800 melee, i level them up to 15k health and at least 1k melee. This is on official and i use them for the beta boss fights. Works like a charm.

So for those of that dont know, on console non-deadicated is the best way to play with your friends bc you cant us other sources for server hosting, keep that in mind as my friend and I adore this map, we spent at least 80 hours on the map before it became unplayable do to a bug where in you get teleported to the host non-stop, this annoying because you already had a limited range and if you get teleported it puts you on the lowest point with collision (i.e. the bottom of the ocean while you're on an argent) sorry for the rant I just wanted to get that out the bc as I said I love this map and it being ruined with this glitch is incredibly annoying (some other areas on other maps are effected by this glitch like volcano on island but this is the most severe) I'm sure no one cares and no devs will ever see this, but hey what does it matter? Only a game ruining bug for a great map.
Regarding the drop cave, the drops (red yellow and blue) spawn every hour and the first time you visit they spawn a second time right away. Think they do the double spawn every 4 or 5 hours 🙌

Here is an idea for WC. A Tek taxidermy base. You put the dermis in and it creates a hologram of the dino and allows it to animate.
