I found a magic minimus yesterday after searching and searching and I now have the portal engram. The recipe is ***** *** ****** *** *****
Their origins are actually super unique! The "duplication bug" isn't actually a bug funny enough it's a feature. They're based on Gremlins (from The Gremlins) who duplicate, so Ferox duplicate in water and sometimes when fed I think? I believe they also take inspiration from Stitch and overall resemble the Jerboa, the transformation is similar to werewolves.
Every other bug however is a real bug..they're really buggy.

I was gonna say, this glitch is so ironic since they are so much like the Gremlins from Gremlins, but since it's a built in feature that's quite funny

when you showed it started duplicating i was thinking how much it reminded me of a gremlin (feed it and it transforms, gets wet and duplicates) them at 24:56 when you picked it up in the ball the notification on the left said "gremlin female" so maybe the duplication isnt a bug?
Yeah it's an intended feature, the feroxes as stated by Wildcard are directly based off gremlins. It's a full blown feature and is actually really helpful in trying to make armies of feroxes.
Syntac losing his mind while two microraptors bully him
I want a Ferox less for combat purposes (though admittedly having an element addicted werewolf on your shoulder in case of emergency is nice.) but more because they have the insulation strength of a dimetrodon with the added benefit of the fuzzy little fella being able to sit on your shoulder, meaning you can go anywhere and do anything and never suffer much from the weather unless you get separated.
Come Syntac, you've never heard of Farox cloning when they get water on them? ;O)-

Pretty sure all that weird brokenness gets fixed once you logout/login. Seen all that except the health issue and it never happened again after logging out and back in. Upload/download would probably do the same. This was a really fun episode!
That duplication happened to me too months ago, we were super confused. Crazy that they haven't fixed it yet.
duplication has been a console thing since day one.
It happened to me back in February when Genesis 1 came out...
Sam I have trouble with breeding ferox they won't stop duplicate and when use element on ferox then they get small they desaperd out now we're like they don't even exist no more they need fix that thank that way I stop playing that map extion map so buggy
It’s not a bug. It’s a direct feature in ark that’s a reference to the gremlins movie.

@@tinyt4359 Yup the higher the addiction is the more element it needs. On max addiction, it needs 5 to transform also it needs to be on max addiction to mate. I bred my feroxes so much it's overwhelming.

I think they only randomly transform if they get right up to your feet (that thing they do when they just waltz up to you while you're on foot), and it's like a 25% chance or something around there

Managarmrs aren't considered flyers aswell as Gasbags, so you can have them on maps like Aberration which doesn't allow flyers, so probably Genesis aswell.
Tame a rex, level it into hp, take it to the ferox's, put it on passive, Ferox when transformed will attack the Rex essentially soaking the damage, obviously you'll have to not be riding on the rex, then feed it element and keep repeating.

Loving the constant cluster series episodes ! This series is amazing. Wasnt into pugnacia or primal fear at all since as a console user i wont ever get to play it.
Buy ARK on Steam and you can use GeForce now for free on any PC or even a smartphone and play ARK with mods. You can use a PS4 controller on your smartphone.

@@JohnJamaica123 you will not be disappointed. The free version allows you to play for an hour at a time. You can immediately jump back in line for another rig and play another hour. The 5$ monthly subscription allows you to play 6 hours at a time and not wait in line for a gaming rig to be available. It's awesome. To add mods just go to steam workshop while logged into your steam account and add the mods you want. They will install when you laid the game up automatically. You have to add the mods in the menu in the game the first time and after that they save. Only downside is they have to download and install every time you connect to the game through GeForce now because you are playing on a PC that is a blank slate. You won't have to manually add them after the first time though.
@@JohnJamaica123 I recommend not adding huge overhaul mods though because as I stated they have to download and install Everytime you load the game. Super Structures is better than S+ for this because you can pick up your buildings without changing ini. Settings which you cannot change through GeForce Now.

Syntac, The ferox is currently bugged to were its stats randomize the first time it becomes big so you cant breed them for the best stats and mutations effectively. even if you breed a line of ferox with the exact same stats, there stats will be compeltely random when they become big.
among the plethora of other bugs they have to, as you experienced in the video with the whole damage thing, feroxes are broken to hell and back, figuratively and VERY literally.

I think we wont have any new episodes of Pugnacia, he's doing the same thing he did with the Crystal Isles series... We don't know if Syntac didn't enjoy it as much as Primal Fear, but the map he was playing on had strange settings that he couldnt change that weren't helping that much

Is it bad that I've beaten Genesis legit, but I've never tamed a ferox, magamasaur, or megachelon?
Not really, literally every taming method is broken,boring, or impossible solo. Not to mention the creatures aside from the magmasaur and bloodstalker are very meh.
@@veryshook9015 Well would your answer change if I told you that I have custom rates like 6x taming, 2.5 xp (for creatures), and 5x harvest?
Magmasaur and ferox is not but megacheoln is acceptable
@@djgrizzly9353 Nope. Regardless of taming settings ferox are still a huge PAIN, since the process can’t be sped up, and you’re at the mercy that it won’t disappear when transforming or begin flying away. Iv even had them straight out fall through the map.
