i play with singleplayer settings so i obviously beat bosses (on alpha even). because it makes the game easy and shortens a lot of grind so why not yk?
Agreed, with a set goal there's a clear objective that you need to work towards so we know how far you need to progress for success. Plus a goal makes you more motivated to finish the challenge and not call it complete early

Can you replace every dinosaur with a Purlovia?
Purlovia cannot be ridden, and then don't have a saddle. Therefore, that video would look like pain and suffer for nothing. Even if the tamed one, nothing changes and he'd still struggle with everything and he eventually can't fight bosses with those. The video would be boring

i can beat a boss with purlovia thanks to singleplayer settings, even if not alpha, most probably gamma, and ill just use a mod for purlovia saddle

my main mount in ark where always the small dinos but i would always make a spino army for the bosses, spino or theri(dragon) where my bf would make a rex army XD spinos will always be one of my fav dinosaurs
spinos r very underrated imo, and the main reason for that is the fact that they have less overall hp than a rex, a more expensive saddle, and they are rarer to find than rexes.. they do pack a punch tho

Tip: if you really hate waiting to force feed Dino’s back to full hp, use the command slomo to speed up the game.
Ex if you use the command “slomo 3” you will speed up the game by 3x as well as force feeding 3x faster.
I don’t really consider it cheating because all it does is cut down on IRL time, and the game itself still runs at 3x times speed so use it or not the same stuff will end up happening m.
But hey up to you, still an amazing video about my favorite Dino in the entire game.
i know about slomo but i'd rather just use a healing paste than hold e. plus many people would call me a cheater then

Someone may have mentioned this already, but there is a mod that lets you craft healing meat, made solely for healing dinos. It takes raw meat to craft and heals a pretty good chuck of hp. And dinos are able to consume it on their own. Cuts down on manually feeding thousands of raw meat.
while i do hate using meat, and i do read all you guys's suggestions and also apply some of them, i'm very happy with healing paste from fmk so i'll not be using the meat thingy
