Thanks for the film on Baldwin's Ink Ground. When Chuck Close had a residency at Crown Point Press San Francisco, he wanted to make some huge mezzotints, far larger than they could rock, or find pre-rocked, and so they used the technique of aquatint to make some huge plates, which he then worked.
