      Thanks. I used my iPhone 14 Pro. Strapped to a tripod. Filming down low on the floor on my knees, and leaning awkwardly forward. I constantly wanted to adjust myself. Also wanting to look closer not to make any mistakes. I kept pulling the earphones closer to myself and getting off the camera.

      If you’re not getting anything in one earbud after replacing batteries then some connection came loose or apart. If all else is good try factory resetting them. Resetting: put both earbuds into the case and press and hold both earbuds until led indicates. Take them out and put both in your ears. Then press and hold them till you hear the pairing mode. I recommend first prior to pairing to remove or forget device in your Bluetooth settings.

    Replacing batteries with a new one will resolve the draining issue? As some users have complained the issue still persist may be a motherboard causing draining issue

    • @DAN1Kpro
      @DAN1Kpro  7 месяцев назад

      The warranty is only 1 year which mine were past a little over. That’s why I would recommend. Replace the battery and sell the earbuds and get the new ones with extended warranty that stores offer. Choose a store that has hassle free warranty exchange. Some stores might sell extended warranty but will waste your time and try to troubleshoot the product. As if it’s fixable with a reset when it’s not.

      Yes, the headphones work for a long time again with new batteries. I don’t know how much you used your headphones if the case also dies fast then you’ll need to also replace the case battery.

    • @DAN1Kpro

      No, 1 cable goes one direction and the other another direction. You would risk ripping a cable or both.

    You should have used different glue that one is too strong you won't be able to open it again with the heat gun.

    • @DAN1Kpro
      @DAN1Kpro  Год назад

      The B-7000 would be the ideal glue to use. Plus it was only an online product, but I had the batteries and wanted to get this done right away. Overtime from heat and just time. Everything deteriorates. I’ve had “loctite professional” superglue come apart overtime from a cracked plastic handle that was consistently pulled on . Planning on selling them. I bought AirPods Pro with AppleCare+ from this battery experience. I used the Sonys a few times a day. Wasn’t really a heavy user. Then 1 day out of the blue(a little over 1 year) the earphones stopped holding a charge. Before they lasted for many hours as usual. Then the next day when I pulled them out fully charged. Both died in a ridiculous 17-20+ minutes. At first I thought maybe the case wasn’t charge, but I would always put them on my anker wireless charger. The case was always green(fully charged). After making sure they were fully charged by the Sony app. I tested them and I never do full volume. The batteries % was dropping quickly from 100% before my eyes. Now the batteries are like new.

    • @DAN1Kpro
      @DAN1Kpro  Год назад

      Also it will save you from the embarrassment of having earphones fall apart in a public location. I would also recommend to do an all around seal instead of some people showing spots. That way it’s better at keeping water and sweat out.

    • @ltdmod
      @ltdmod Год назад

      Agreed. Never superglue electronics. If you face issues down the line, "superglue come apart overtime" is not what you should gamble on.
      Another point is to never use metal when taking these apart. If you're unlucky enough you can shortcircuit and fry the entire bud.
      If anyone sees this video and reads this comment before buying, be patient and get yourself a common adhesive such as B7000 or E8000 (available cheap and fast online).

    • @DAN1Kpro
      @DAN1Kpro  Год назад +1

      Do you mean not connecting or pairing when taken out of the case? If that’s the case. To reactivate pairing you have to put both earphones into your ears. Then at the same time tap and hold on the earbuds till you hear a feedback “Bluetooth pairing.” I’ve had to do that with mine then the Sony app shows there’s a firmware update which took a while.

If you google teardown, there are photos of model 3 teardown but the batteries look like they have 2 spot welds with a small circuit board.

      Yes, thanks @burackbb for answering. I’m sure if you had nothing and had the black color ones. You could of even let them sit out in the sun on a hot summer day and they would come apart. Or inside a black car by the windshield on a hot day. Just don’t forget to remove the foam ear tips or they will shrink and harden from heat.
