Hey Grant Cardone here to you today about some self confidence, where do you get your self confidence? You can’t buy it at the store folks. Can’t dress it up, can’t eat it, you can’t buy it, you can’t even manufacture it yourself, you have to go and build self confidence. This is a topic near and dear to my heart. I remember being 25 years old, scared to death of people. At 29, starting my speaking career, terrified of the people I had to go to, didn’t call on anybody for a year, because I was literally frozen in fear. One day somebody said something to me “ dude you need to handle your self confidence issue”, so i went and bought a suit, I didn’t feel any better. I went and bought a car, didn’t feel better about myself. i felt a little better for a second. Look self confidence is the only outfit you can’t buy, this is an inside job, you’ve got to study, you gotta learn, you gotta practice, and you have to do the hard things. Self confidence comes from repeating experiences that are difficult, same place courage comes from. The guy that does something courageous is given the title of being courageous. It’s not because he went and wore courageous, it’s because he went and did something. Look if you want to build self confidence, you can listen to the subliminal tapes, it’s not gonna work. You can go and do hypnotism, it’s freaking ridiculous. you need to be more aware, more alert, and you need to do more. Some of the ideas that people are throwing at you guys right now to build your self confidence, you gonna eat better and feel different? You gonna do this and feel better? Look, you need to get in front of people, do the things your scared to do, to get the self confidence you wanna have. Period. It’s not on sale, it’s not at Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Toyota, it’s not on the radio dude. It’s an inside job, I can’t help you with it. You have got to take what I’m giving you in these blurbs, blabs, streams, scopes, cats, what ever your calling it, the posts, the streams the instagrams. Hey man I need to take that and apply it to my life, otherwise your gonna find yourself feeling worse and worse and worse about yourself. You wanna go walk on fire? Go do it. Is that gonna build your self confidence? I doubt it. I doubt it man, go spend $8000 on a weekend, that will not improve your self confidence. The only thing I know for sure that will change your sense of self, is the actions you take getting in front of other people. Other people, people you don’t know. people your scared to talk to. Your sitting there trembling through your pitch, until you don’t tremble anymore. Self confidence is an inside job, it’s not a suit you put on, it’s not a car you car you drive. This is not something you buy, it’s something you develop.

Cheers for this, been searching for "building self confidence seminars" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Ganatad Confidence carborundum - (do a google search ) ? It is a good one of a kind product for gaining confidence and self-esteem minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy got excellent success with it.
Best speech on confidence ever. Get experience, get good , know your the best in the business and radiate that feeling towards others.

Amazing message Mr Cardone. This is as real as it gets, and I agree. There's no shortcuts but one thing that I believe that can tremendously help your confidence without speaking to strangers or large crowds is to workout. Getting fit and achieving fitness goals will make you look and feel more confident! Again thanks for the advice!

As an instructor I've gained the ability to talk to random people, public speak, dance. All in front of other people, yet I wasn't able to sing in front of people. I was just completely too self conscious of it. I started going to Karaoke at a bar in town. Kept singing and singing, now I have started to feel a lot stronger about singing in front of people.
I have heard people before saying much on the same topic but you say it is different. I like it. Thumbs up!
I've over 500 videos onto youtube and have given over 20 speeches this year and still when I go up on stage and blast the audience with a powerful speech my hands still shake throughout the speech. Sometimes even my legs might shake. But people see me as confident and get more confident overtime I step in front of the crowd. #MP
Cool! use to have a puddle of sweat on the desk when I spoke publicly but all gone now. I concentrated on my point to get me through ⚓️️

Wow...Powerful stuff. I knew it was true, but I still needed to hear it, thank you. One of the best pieces of advice I was ever given, while training in sales was to put myself out there and get uncomfortable. Push a little harder, no matter how awkward or uncomfortable it might feel. Confidence is something that I can still use plenty of, and that bit of coaching is the perfect reminder and it really goes a long way. You're my hero...Cheers!

Rob Dyerdek believes he was hypnotized for success. He gives his credit towards that but he also firmly believe he purchased a time machine. So maybe he has a strong placebo effect with the hypnosis.

This is the truth. It's about practicing the thing that you are afraid of, just like when you first learn to drive a car. It can be scary, but the more you practice the more confident you get until you are not afraid anymore and you just do it automatically.

I'm now 25 Years and I'm broke and broking, May I do the same as Grant Did? Starting a business? Facing an unrealistic trait? Drowning stupidity down to the earth? Kinda incurious.
Uncle G., as a hypnotist, I have to say I agree that using hypnosis to gain confidence is the wrong way to go about it! Confidence is only earned AFTER doing something, it cant be gotten thru passive listening to tapes etc.

By the way, Grant, great Idea that will make you more money! Make a book about hand gestures while speaking. I know there are some probably, but your book will have your name. And your name is a brand. Make sales, and you can keep all the money. It will take you a couple of days to make a book man, just make it and sell it. You like the sound of money counting machine, don't you?! Sell your book and make sure your money counting machine will have enough power to count all of it.

dead on stuff right here! I learned this around 24 when I moved to New York City from the rural south with 600 dollars and not knowing a soul there. I had to 'bone up' real quick. left after 2 years there, but it was one of the best things I ever did for myself. Grant, your videos are a great inspiration - it's obvious by the way you speak you're a real person, self made, straight up dude. thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
While it's important to accept that I will be judged and misunderstood and thought less of, self confidence doesn't have to be cocky. If you are a man of heart, then being authentic is what you need. Your vulnerabilities are not your weakness. They are part of your design which makes you a whole confident human. The problem is not that you feel weak but that you wanna hide it and stay way from it!
Out of all videos you ever made, I saw this one a couple of month ago and I am very thankful. I changed in unmeasurable way. I listed to you most of the times, and I try to learn every thing from you. Your eye look, your seriousness, tonality, expression, communication, gestures, speed of conversation, presentation styles. I like the references to: hypnosis, walking on fire, and spending eight grand on a weekend. Wondering who he was talking about? The same guy he did seminars with.
I think Grant is a master sales trainer, but this advice is not comprehensive. And I think most therapists and counselors would disagree

There is truth to what he is saying but he is dismissing how much power the mind has over people. You can only take action to overcome your fears and build confidence when you understand how the subconscious works and what you can do to control it. Grant does not realize that his determination to succeed informed his subconscious to say enough is enough and I am going to do this. Remember....he said he was frozen for a year. Guess what kept him frozen?.....his subconscious. Your conscious mind is the gate keeper to the subconscious. He fed his mind of what he wanted and with time it took action....but there is 7 billion people on earth and we can not all think the same. But what happens in all of our minds to be successful is the same. Research the science.

GC you did touch on the point, Yeah!! I fear infront of people to add my opinion on business matters but it's all gone that's coz of you. Thank you for all these motivational talks it means a lot to me.
Only way you gain confidence is to do it. talk to people. you want it you gotta do it. Even my psychology mentor Adam Lyons will say the same thing. get out there and do it. You will fail here and there but you will get closer to getting what you want.
Great as always but self hypnosis and subliminals do work great too.It's what in the mind that appears on the outside.

Grant not sure if you have done more on this topic but I think this is a huge asset to have. I think many people have doubts about themselves and need to find ways to overcome those doubts and learn how to approach people better. I am one of those that needs to work on it.
Repetition is the answer !!! Again and again keep moving forward.

@@GrantCardone Hello Mr Cardone! We are Rockweller, a rock band based in Singapore, and I really think self confidence is the key to anything. E.g, being confident on stage for the fans, selling a product to a customer. If a consumer/other party doesn't see any confidence in us, how are they confident enough to trust us, let alone buy the product?
