    Eine Wunderbare Seilbahn! Durch diese vielen Kettenförderer wirkt sie deutlich älter. ( Was aber meiner Meinung nach eher positiv ist. ) Hoffentlich darf sie noch viele Jahre begeisterte Personen transportieren. Auch ein großes Lob für die sehr ausführliche und gut verständliche Erklärung!👍👍👍

      Normally there should be an option in the subtitle settings of the video to use automatic translation. With the manually added German subtitles (now available for all videos) the translation to English is not that bad.

      @@seilbahntv turned on the subtitles. No translation..

      @seilbahntv  2 года назад +3

      When you've turned on the subtitles, click on the settings icon, select "subtitles" and then there should be four entries in the list ("none", "German", "German (automatically created)" and "translate automatically"). When choosing the latter a list with basically every language Google supports shows up. There you can then select English.

    A very nice Video! I love the red cabin. but how does the von roll detachable grip work?

    Kann es sein dass die hohen Fachwerkstützen noch von der alten Giovanola Bahn stammen?

    Frage: welchen Sinn haben die beiden Ausleger nach vorne und nach hinten an einígen Gondeln oberhalb der Kabine?

    why did the upper station look like a skirail station ?

    • @seilbahntv
      @seilbahntv  2 года назад +4

      Skirail used Von Roll parts as a licensee, that's probably why there is some similarity.

      @@melonmusk3767 Skirail developed the Aeroski/Aeropac system in 1985 and it used Von Roll VH400 grips. Only 4 were made: 2 chairlifts, 2 gondolas: The chairlifts were Ranfoilly in Les Gets and Boismint of Val Thorens, and the gondolas were the 3rd Toviere of Tignes and the 2nd La Balme gondola of La Clusaz(which also has a very rare first-generation Poma detachable chairlift, Combe Des Juments, the only surviving Poma S-Type detachable chairlift and the only french 2-CLD remaining).
      Only the La Balme gondola exists of the 4 Aeroskis. Toviere was replaced in 2013 and Ranfoilly and Boismint were replaced in 2016 and 2017.
      The Aeroski Toviere had one of the highest hourly capacities in the world when it was built in 1985, it had a bigger capacity than a LOT of 21st-century ski lifts did: 3000 passengers every hour is what the Aeroski Toviere was capable of even as far back as 1985. The only other ropeways that could come close to such a capacity at the time were 1970's - 1980's Doppelmayrs such as the old Fleckalmbahn(2400 passengers every hour), old Valiserabahn(2200 passengers every hour, went at 5 METERS PER SECOND AND WAS BUILT IN 1981!!! THAT'S THE SPEED OF A 21ST-CENTURY SKI LIFT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and Poma Evolutive systems which were produced in many different capacity varieties as the world's first 10-MGD was also built in La Clusaz in 1984 and it was a Poma Evolutive. Like La Balme it is still up and running!
      Poma began production of the Evolutive systems in 1982 and ceased production of the Evolutive systems at the end of the 1980's.
      Back to Skirail, they did build 2 other detachable gondola lifts in 1983 in Tignes(again) and Valfrejus. They were both built with manufacturing license from Habegger(for the La Sache gondola of Tignes) and Agudio(for the Punta Bagna gondola of Valfrejus). While there are still a few Agudio systems in France, La Sache was unfortunately the only Habegger system made in France and was the last gondola lift in france to ever use the Giovanola grips.
      Punta Bagna was replaced in 2009 by a modern Doppelmayr gondola and detachable chairlift while La Sache was turned into nothing more than a garage for the modern Brevieres gondola. This happened in 2018, they wanted to use the top station for the garage of the Les Boisses gondola but La Sache's top station burned down thanks to it's wooden floor while scrappers were chopping the metal down with blowtorches.
      An entirely new garage was built for Les Boisses on the spot where the Sache's top station once was.
