      How can that be? The purple cerebrate of the Jorgamund brood was protecting the Overmind along with Daggoth and wasn't one of the ones the protoss killed earlier.
      When the Overmind was killed, both cerebrates returned to Char and began the plan to create a new Overmind but the purple one was then taken by Kerrigen to be her general.

    Back when StarCraft was not just a hit, but an era living in one of the most badass centuries towards crossing the millennium that we, especially those who lived through the intensity of possible Y2K & have witnessed its greatness & achievements! The old StarCraft series including Brood war was so way of its time, finely and violently made to introduce its brutality and impressive graphics at that time, & I was 6 years old back then, my cousin brothers introduced me (they've played way earlier than me since I'm tye youngest of them all) to this game, running through campaigns, especially when it came to the Zergs, the gameplay, sound effects and the theme music, all were just so terrifyingly executed, which I remember freaking out to the overall StarCraft universe, which they've brilliantly brought out the way darker atmosphere & splendidly written story telling. My point is besides the Zerg, no matter which faction you choose be it playing as Protoss or Terran, it somehow managed to frighten & make you scared or terrified to its story, gameplay, cinematics & music! The whole StarCraft universe was enough to play mind tricks on your mentality, like dragging you into the worlds of cosmic battles and events which was all whole new mind blowing experiences back then! Back when video games, movies & music were so dark, mature & terrifying; just personally gotta admit that I was fortunate enough to be a kid that matures through such badass era to have had terrific experiences & exposures. Miss it already, watching & still playing StarCraft until today is one of the best things in my life! Wish I could just go back & get them feels once more with my cousin brothers & siblings.. I can just keep going on & on non stop like no enough facial expressions or words can describe how beautifully made games, music & movies were back then, & how they've become sentimental gems in their own rights! Ah, old times ..😊
    PS - Protoss themes sound so godly pleasantly heroic!

    Finally beat it. Yes, halucianions on Phenix (4 of them at a time) draw some serious fire power :) several salvos from reavers and some dragoons, scouts that escorts reavers. I built 6 gateways, I used dragoons and archons. I lost about 30 psi from 200 in less than 30 seconds at the bottom base because i atacked it on narrow front on bottom side, It was a choke point, I didn't know it, but it didn't matter. Reinforcements were on the way. When I ran out of gas, i used zealots. Second and 3'rd base built. I send reinforcements on the front side while on bottom side my units stumbled and they were fighting kinda 1 vs 1 and lured enemy units there. Only 1/4 of my units were actually fighting, the rest just ran from left to right :)) And i left them be when i noticed the front side of the bottom base was much wider, Another 20 psi worth of units spent. But the front side assault with reinforcements from my base encountered only turrets and several units on the way to the bottom, where the chaos was at it's peak, including a reaver. The reaver didn't return fire. I kept the nexus intact. 3'rd base on the right side was a joke. I was very wide front i i tried to experiment something but 2 dragoons pulled agro lol and my strategem was killed in it's infancy. I also kept the 3'rd nexus intact. Then i scouted the map for observers and dropships. Then i destroyed the 2 remaining nexus in the same time. I left Nothing living or standing on the map. So dragoons and narrow front don't mix :)) unless one have 3/1 numeric superiority on atack or one is taking time to organize the dragoons. It took 52 mins but it was very satisfying. I didn't use the templars at all, Zerathul had a nasty habbit to die in my previous attemps so i kept him in defence. Zerathul killed 2 reavers and several dragoons tho. Phenix and Tassadar destroyed some scouts, dragoons and a carrier. At the entrance i built a starport as a wall. it has 600 hp and 600 shield. Better than gateway. So the reavers had something to fire at :)) I still have much to learn :)

In last mission i used terrans because repairs. Plague on protoss is a dezaster, I send protoss units in bottom left corner and send dropship for them keeping zeratul and templars in defence. Yamato gun, defensive matrix, irradiate did the job. Battle cruiser have better chance of survival against kamikaze stuff of zerg because they have better response time. And that's a lot pf hp and shield to fire at :)) I wander... if i can't just use like 40 halucinations of Fenix ( 9 templars and Tassadar) to charge the base and behind them the halucinations the real troops. That would be... 40x 300hp and shield to fire at lol. And would be a total dezaster with only few losses, maybe none..

    Why in mission 9, you to probe with carriers?

    • @gkaymesh
      @gkaymesh 3 года назад +8

      The carriers are party balloons. The probe just carry them around the map.

    • @jetaimemina
      @jetaimemina 3 года назад +5

      Google "magic box" in Starcraft. Basically, having one unit in a control group (the probe, which is trapped inside the mineral line by a pylon) constantly far away from the rest of the flying units makes those flying units always stack on top of each other. Otherwise the flying units slowly spread out more and more, making focused fire more difficult.

    Why don't you build scouts to support the carrier? That way pesky air units like scourge, mutalisks, and queens can be dealt with severely. I don't care if the herd don't like them. Their missiles fully upgraded does over 30 damage per shot. Enough to rip scourge with one hit and destroy any mutalisks and devourers alike.
