Coming from a long career of software and hardware development and integrations this is an insanely complex system. Kudo's to the engineering team whipping this together. What I see aside from the incredible precision is all of the modules talking with each other and the multiple sanity checking that is going on with each stage of the "handoff" process. People look at the front end of what these machines can do but they often seem to forget the software that ties everything together. Together with the hardware and software it is poetry in motion! Insane technology, many moving parts on the back end. Mad Respect to the Haimer and Fanuc team on this one. Titans of CNC is always bringing us the best manufacturing videos and for that I am grateful. As always, much love and gratitude. 💥❤
You can really sense this guys passion for this system. It's great hearing someone demo something when they know the product top to bottom, inside and out.
Sir Haimer, I'm from Belgium, i have enormous respect for your knowledge, presentation and huge passion for you company, your teams and your products. You are an example for leaders in the industry, your love for what you do is contagious.. Love you interaction with Titan, and all of us on RUclips.
The socks killed it. 😂😂😂 Coding each collet/bit unit so the machine is zeroed in from the get go must be the largest efficiency increase since the step up to 4500 inch per minute feed rate. ...yeah, yeah, I know 🤣🤣🤣 The CEO is as impressive as the products they make. 'Escuse me. Both CEOs. 👍
Extraordinary what HAIMER did in such short time ! Bringing together all kind of digitization, automization and Toolroom technology is unique in the machine tool world. Thank you TITAN for sharing all these informations so emotional with us.
I was blown away by all the new products... We are organizing our cutting tools through excel sheets! I need the new Haimer software and vending machines to make my life easier and manage my tools...
Great job with a simple explanation of what is obviously a very complex machine and undertaking. It's nuts how this came together in 4 months. #mindblown
Haimer è garanzia di qualità ad altissimi livelli, continua ricerca e sviluppo nei settori mandrineria, presettaggio, bilanciatura, calettamento ed asportazione truciolo con frese integrali al top del settore !💪🏆
Incredible how solidly the machine is built. This type of automation definitely has potential to be integrated into a toolroom. Still a bit too big for our production but it’s nice to see what‘s possible in the future.
Behind the technology advancement. The flexibility for users is always on the table. No matter what size of the production is,a particular model can be used. All the best.
Honestly I dont like this level of automation. Eventually we'll all be out of a job and if I know anything about human nature its that we all need jobs otherwise we go crazy and do bad things.
Thanks to TITAN for this amazing video! Great job of all the Haimer employees which were involved here! Launching this machine after only 4 months of development is just insane!
Being able to complete a project like this within 4 months speaks for Haimer once again. every time the company manages to surprise me with new innovations. Well done!
The million dollar question. What does the 11 Axis system cost? What about 2.5G balance as part of the 11 Axis system? Will it be capable of 1.5G Micro Balancing?
Coming form specialized machine building background I can say taht the development of fully working softwer for such an precise and complicated machine in just 4MONTHS is insane. It loks liek they Goot truly a lots of help form SIMEN. As always HAIMER exsides your expectations.
This will be really useful for OEM's and suppliers doing mass production of parts for things like automotive. I could see my company utilizing these instead of paying tool pre-setters to do the same job. My only question is I assume this machine is entirely for shrink holders? Because indexable tools would still be held up.
Of course entirely logical and understandable for a company to do this, along with the jaw-droppingly amazing engineering that goes into something like this. That said, I do wonder what all this automation will mean for the people that are, at the moment, the lifeblood of a company such as yours. I know this is a bit off-topic but at some point so many jobs will be automated that a huge part of the workforce will have skills that are no longer required, oftentimes even quite advanced skills like precision machining. I'm in IT, I actually design automated industrial systems myself, so for now I don't have to worry about this but I do care about my fellow professionals which see their jobs disappear because of automation. I hope we can evolve society to compensate for this without too much instability and without the wealth gap increasing so much that we end up with modern serfdom. I think this evolution will reverberate through our societies much more profoundly than most people realize, because a huuuuuuuge number of jobs can be automated if the technology progresses, even jobs where you wouldn't expect this to be possible (apologies for posting such a loosely-related comment. It's just something that is on my mind quite frequently as the pace of automation increases. Rant over, lol)
@@BinaryBlueBull Bro, this is not a machine most shops can even afford. Only shops with astronomical ROI would be willing to buy such machines, maintain them, and train qualified programmers for. This tech will not be phasing out old clunky 3-axis mills with ancient control panels, that require manual setup, any time soon. Also, note how the machine is unable to prepare and load it's own stock material, or program production runs just using a part model/print. Shops are still going to need cheap operators, and expensive well trained experienced programmers, no matter what machine(s). Not even AI is going to change this. I like how there was not a single mention of AI bs in this demo video. These guys know what's up.
Amazing to obtain in a short time this great result. Another success for the excellent Team HAIMER! Thank you so much TITANS for having shown at the best this technology
Haimer continues to innovate and bring cutting edge products to machining companies. Shrink fit is truly the only tool holding system which can be 100% automated for changing out cutting tools. With HAIMER the tool room can run lights out 24/7 unattended.
Great new Haimer innovations and amazing video of Titan and Andreas, you can feel the enthusiasm when watching it. Good job guys and looking forward to the next video.
It is the solution for skills gap. Operators will have even more opportunities with more responsibilities. Shops will stay more competitive and increase jobs in manufacturing.

What an impressive machine - you can run this autmatic and take care of the tricky jobs in the meantime. Does anybody know how much this will cost?
Haimer is 800 people!? Whoa, they are doing amazing stuff for being that size.
I like the way things are going in MFG, this will play a big part in a shop running a MES
designing something that complex in 4 months is insane. hats off to the engineers involved
Great Video and a great CEO knowing his stuff!
Love it ❤ Amazing technology! 🚀
Great innovation. Love it !!
While that is a cool system, there are very very few companies that can/will purchase this and utilize it to it's fullest potential.
Bye bye operators in corporates, big companies, shops :D :D there is no room for that many programmers... :D

what an insane machine. It looks like they put years into it. Crazy that anyone can do something like this in only 4 months

Haimer is doing a great job and an outstanding development. Keep it up!

Won't this just take jobs for manufacturing?
It is the solution for skills gap. Operators will have even more opportunities with more responsibilities. Shops will stay more competitive and increase jobs in manufacturing.
What responsibilities would it add? All I see is it taking away responsibilities.
