No joke I had to machine the slot on the head of screws this small in a milling machine using a horizontal collet closer on the table and a saw slitter
Do you guys do small batch machining? I REALLY want to get into machining my own bullets to reload with, but I'd like to try and test ~40 or so out before I invest in a small lathe.
Just fair warning, it's gonna be a pretty tall order to come up with something useable on a manual machine if you don't have experience machining. Particularly any sort of ogive that is not just a straight taper. It's much more doable geometry wise with a cnc, but thats gonna be a much higher price point and difficult learning curve for a hobbyist. Not trying to be discouraging, just a heads up from a machinist and reloader! You might ask around and see if you have any local job shops that would be willing to make them. If you can provide bullet geometry in a simple blueprint or something, they might be willing to do it. Good luck either way!
Love the "I'm about to choke on a skittle" sound at the end. Very relatable.

How much does each screw cost?
Around 75$
@@InfiniXCat I pay much less 😂
3.50
@@gabri6673you can obviously buy way cheaper screws, but I can guarantee they won’t meet whatever tolerance spec these do
Looks like M3
More like M0.3

Alat sebesar itu hanya memproduksi baut kecil ?
So you're telling me you are smashing that thread. Even with collet, it's not really acceptable if that screw is to be used for something precise.
Hello,
I think you should start a company in India.
SWEET
This shows just how incredibly precise these machines really are, amazing
