Gotta balance machine usage 'n' contracts ==> Lots of contracts, lots of money for new spindles but little time. View contracts ==> Lots of time for taking it safe.
@randompersonoftheinternet8012 The idea that pushing a machine tool to the extreme limits is all well and good when everything is sponsored. No real costs involved. In my experience, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
It’s tough working for a small business. The owner will always take any mistake personally… big companies don’t care as much it isn’t your bosses money.
I don’t stress anything anymore mistakes happen. The hard part is pretending to feel upset when I know my boss done much worse when he was on the floor. Shit happens you learn from it and move on
The mark of experience, it's really about how quickly you can get back to confident and comfortable again, the machine will live on with a few new parts.
Y'all give Barry the hardest jobs and make him look bad when he fails. Here we have a saying: if you don't work, you don't make mistakes. Barry THE MAN!
I have worked in some pretty high end aerospace shops and only seen a legitimate crash once. And it was a kid who had only been running CNC for a couple years. I cannot imagine what kind of pressure these guys are under to crash this many times. Taking a little care and having a decent verification software (using vericut right now) will save you a lot of headache and crashes. Don't run your feed rate at 100% when you are first approaching a newly programed op will save you the rest.
As someone in machining school at the moment, it's overwhelming how many things you need to remember when working with any piece. Sometimes if I feel even a little bit confused I'll sit there and think it out for a few minutes just to make sure I don't mess up. So far I've only done the manual machines where I have more immediate control of what I'm doing. I can only imagine how easy it is to mess up on a cnc machine.
In the UK, you'd be fired the very second you had the 1st incident, and your Botswanan replacement who speaks 3 words of English would walk past you on your way out.
Some places are like that, others less so.. heard of a guy getting fired for knocking the status light off the top of a machine with a forklift, meanwhile my old boss and the young CNC guy got through 3 carbide end mills before realising the live spindle facing to the left spins the opposite way to the usual for that code.. I (manual machines mostly) was LMAO 🤣
And you were not fired? I've made three tiny mistakes in my CNC days and was fired 3 times. 😅 It's been a long 6 years most stressful and relaxing job ever....
Your a better man than me because he would be fired , shit teach me I know how to follow directions and ask questions if I don't understand. I'm old ASF but I always wanted to learn this just ever had the opportunity to learn I'll out work everyone that that shop
Biggest regret of my life is not going after the programmer that programmed my tool turret coming in before the door shut on my lathe and my hand exploding between the pusher and collet.
that only works if your untrained/self-taught. if your qualified to do the job and this stuff happens then your qualifications aint worth the paper its printed on
I'm crying watching this! And to think my father and me made the first optical fibre dies from a little work shop under the house in syd Aust! Pretty much any cable that was extruded in Aust or southern hemisphere came out of a ZANZE ENG made die! They came from all over the world to meet my father and see our workshop. Two German fellows couldn't belive how clean our workshop was and what we produced, Vito Zanze, my father was and still is the smartest machinist I've ever known!!!❤
Ones my kollege crasht 1,5mio€ maschine. A damage of about 500000€. he just put in the wrong tool lenght. and than he did not jused his potis, he just started and turnt arround. And baannnng!
Let me tell you how to feel like absolute shit. Do what I did, and accidentally damage an edge finder, and then go ask your boss for a new one. Put it in the mill, move the table the wrong way and break the new one. LMFAO man i felt like shit. I told him id pay for it, but na he said it was cool. I meant to move left and I moved it right lol stupid mistake. been doing this shit for 18 years and still fuck up some times, but to be fair thats my first fuck up in a long time and honestly I deserved it because I had been laughing at my co workers making dumb mistakes and for getting only ONE day of use out of a damned end mill that I can get to last for a week lol seriously they go through an end mill per day lol
Honestly though work help like Billy can ruin a company haha I worked at a pre stress concrete company as maintenance and let me tell you so many people had to be fired for using expensive ass steel, rebar cutters and if anyone got into the plasma table room messing with stuff. Iis worth just finding them another job
(not a guy who owns a buisness here) is it really that stressfull? Is it like manageable stress or over the top f*** sake losing control of myself stress?
Most of the stuff you see being machined is REQUIRED to be made in the United States for traceability and material certification reasons. You might be able to make something "cheaper" but you can't compete with American quality. Cheap doesn't equate to good quality parts
I don’t think you’ll ever stop using that disco ball clip will you 😂
What was Barry thinking???
Well, let's face it. That was a job badly set up and ended worse. He's right to take the piss out of it!
And sending that monster drill full rapid. They use both clips all the time 🤣🤣
Watching these clips makes me 2nd think buying my 1st X9 machining center 😏
Nothing makes a machinist feel worse than either crashing a CNC machine or killing a job that you were almost finished with.
Or when the client returns xxxxxxx $$ tool just to add up 0.05mm material on few spots as you can see that defect on the mold 😒
I've literally felt my lunch hit the back of my throat. It's such a sickening feeling. Ugh!
I do EDM in injection molds, I know this feeling very well, and it sucks ass for 2 days.
or both at once😢
Boss coming along def makes me feel worse. Yeah i know i fucked up, im on my way to fix it and not let it happen again. No need to yell at me.
Throwing shade on Barry when it was his birthday yesterday 😂😂
I cant just picture non PG titan being in his office and hears a banging noise and immediately exhales "ughh F-ing Barry..." 😂
Titan even sounds different with that facial hair.
Throwing shade and most pissed about the air cutting...lol!
Oh Barry! At least he always gives us content
Titan is working on that old and Wise look 😂
That beard is shaping nicely.
Can I get a job? I've only snapped 11 tools and broke three spindles. I do use 60 thou when I mount things 😂
This is an advertisement as to why the ridiculous feeds and speeds don't equal profits. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.
The speeds and feeds arent the issue… you want to maximize both especially if it’s a part that’s being run many times
Gotta balance machine usage 'n' contracts ==> Lots of contracts, lots of money for new spindles but little time. View contracts ==> Lots of time for taking it safe.
you do you, we'll do us. If you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen
@wesselsi3791 I live in the kitchen, and I can say comfortably my dishes are clean and we make money without risking the cook
@randompersonoftheinternet8012 The idea that pushing a machine tool to the extreme limits is all well and good when everything is sponsored. No real costs involved. In my experience, just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.
I am a CNC lathe "operator", I would love to learn to be a "Machinist" from these guys! ok, maybe not Barry!!! lol
You could just watch him and take notes on what not to do 🤭
It’s tough working for a small business. The owner will always take any mistake personally… big companies don’t care as much it isn’t your bosses money.
facts. dude is on Barry's ass for mistakes that I guarantee he would have also made if he were in his employees' shoes.
Damn that beard suits Titan down to the ground.
Bruh, this guy is worse than high schoolers.
I still have nightmares reminiscing about bad parts and crashes.
Even as a non machinist (just operated them in past) hearing them from other operators you never forget lol....
Barry, the guy Titans posts showing him laughing at other peoples mistakes, including some where the machinist was obviously injured…..
Yeah I saw that short, laughing at the guy who unfortunately got wrapped around the chuck. Barry I hope karma gets you
Link?
@@andrewdoesyt7787 it's on the shorts section on Titan channel
Cry about it softie 🙄
Titans of desaster
Who's doing the programming ?!?!?
Does nobody use single block anymore ?
@@Dr_Monster I don't remember when I ever used single block except to shorten something quickly with the offset.
Y'all give Barry the hardest jobs and make him look bad when he fails. Here we have a saying: if you don't work, you don't make mistakes.
Barry THE MAN!
Barry! You are the best!!
Titan trying to tell Berry something. Pay attention.
These guys suck!
As someone in machining school at the moment, it's overwhelming how many things you need to remember when working with any piece. boss harrassing Barry love it😂
What has happened to Barry, Have not seen him in many videos lately
He got Fired.
Na, just playing but he has been programming a crazy part. Videos coming.
And IMTS
Would be more fun if you said like:
"He got fired, nah kidding, he broke to many tools and got relocated into programming departement"
Barry the best CNC machinist 😊
Not!
In the UK, you'd be fired the very second you had the 1st incident, and your Botswanan replacement who speaks 3 words of English would walk past you on your way out.
No wonder British industry died.
That’s so far from the truth it’s unbelievable 😂
@willyharris4199 😆😆 oh really 😅
Oh god i can see it now, a reality youtube show in Titans shop. 😂
Your a better man than me because he would be fired , shit teach me I know how to follow directions and ask questions if I don't understand. I'm old ASF but I always wanted to learn this just ever had the opportunity to learn I'll out work everyone that that shop
“Like he’s paying for it” 😂
😂😂😂 Barry ur chained around that machine... You are not fired... until you repay all your costly mistskes....
Bro aged like 25 years in 1 year....damn!!!
Man he loves to let them drills and shell mills eat dont he?
Biggest regret of my life is not going after the programmer that programmed my tool turret coming in before the door shut on my lathe and my hand exploding between the pusher and collet.
I've only ever done manual machining & i didn't think a cnc machine would do anything until the door was closed
If Your not making mistakes Your not getting better the road to excellence is paved with a bit of damage
that only works if your untrained/self-taught.
if your qualified to do the job and this stuff happens then your qualifications aint worth the paper its printed on
Looks like Barry is only one, who works))
Wow I didn't think you guys ever made any mistakes..
There's always one in the crowd that is a lightning rod for trouble isn't there!! BARRY!
Ya'll ready to goooo!!! ...........(proceeds to cut air)😂😂😂
That's why I'm getting out of this trade after 30 years .let the robots do it.its 3d printing and additive machine is gonna replace it
Why is it always a Barry?😂
damn titan looks good
They should have had the right MENTALITY
I'm crying watching this! And to think my father and me made the first optical fibre dies from a little work shop under the house in syd Aust! there is single step it cost less than new spindle. what that rapid speed that took 0.1 gained. now its 1week off machine
Ones my kollege crasht 1,5mio€ maschine. A damage of about 500000€. he just put in the wrong tool lenght. and than he did not jused his potis, he just started and turnt arround. And baannnng!

❤cnc machining.been doin it since they ran off of punch tape..
carbide inserted mills do get expensive...z level roughing & makin chips my fav.thing
Honestly though work help like Billy can ruin a company haha I worked at a pre stress concrete company as maintenance and let me tell you so many people had to be fired for using expensive ass steel, rebar cutters and if anyone got into the plasma table room messing with stuff. "It was me Barry, i reduced your paycheck". RF would be proud.
Also i think yt shoved to many cw flash clips down my throat.
Titan you're looking as old as I do now after 2 years of owning a CNC machine shop 😂
(not a guy who owns a buisness here) is it really that stressfull? Is it like manageable stress or over the top f*** sake losing control of myself stress?
Obviously, these guys make their money from views. Not actually making sellable parts at a profit.
I can confidently say I've never made any of these mistakes despite machining no less than 16 hours a day for a decade
Nice Shot Barry, the tool would probably cut better if you also spun it the right direction 😮
Throwing a tool? Meh. Throwing a breaker? Damn.
Wtf are these they dont proof first cut before prodiction? Rapid into everything lmao
ㅋㅋㅋ 제대로 하시네요^^
Damn boy, you gettin sick? Lookin small. Hope you're doin good bud.
I'm not a machinist and EVEN I know that dovetail isn't strong enough.
I'm not a machinist and EVEN I know that dovetail isn't strong enough.
dude what's up with titan? he's looking pretty bad. does he have cancer
"Oh look a new $10,000 Spindle!"
I can't imagine why? 🙄
You guys machine disco balls??! That is awesome!!
I think Bro forgot to touch off the grass straight to that fucking part. I did that like two weeks ago bad time 😅
Barry! 😂
It's a good thing you can't legally take the cost of a tool out of an employees paycheck! 😜
Dude looks like he just watched every wes Watson video.
Dang titan looks like a retired pimp in this one haha what happened?
The microsecond views are really annoying...
Who is that guy, I don’t recognize him
This is the best short you guys put up in a while xd
This was freaking funny as heck !! 😅
More content like this! Pls ! 😂
Why is the drill spinning the wrong way?
Только кто работает на подобном оборудовании поймет всю горечь 😢
Makes me anxious watching this.
Do you have any requirement of any product I am from India we will do for you in very minimum rate and best quality
Most of the stuff you see being machined is REQUIRED to be made in the United States for traceability and material certification reasons. You might be able to make something "cheaper" but you can't compete with American quality. Cheap doesn't equate to good quality parts
The window😢
КТО Ж БЛЯТЬ НА ТАКИХ ПОДАЧАХ СВЕРЛЕНИЕ ПРОГРАММИРУЕТ?
Oh oh... looks like no more Barry... 😢
Titan rules, always has, always will!
Thanks for coming out!🎉
Oh come on, that KSEM drill wasnt spinning the right direction... how do you miss that?
Why there is only berry?😅🤣🤣🤣
hire the handicap there fun to watch
Ya boss, BUT THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY WE HAVE MADE ON THE SHORTS AND MEMES!
If he had dropped that z... 😂
sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeshchillin with that rm in the machine shop
i see you big bro 💪
did the best machinist in the world not double check his distance to go? 😅
send him out on vacation
Don't harry Barry !! 🤨
Wait is that titan now?
Titan looks like Brock Lesnar and Barry looks like the Undertaker
The problem is if i did this at my job id be fired immediately
And that's why greatness doesn't happen. That comes mostly from mistakes and the rest from others'mistakes😅.
What happened with the tombstone clip? Lol
the ... tension 😅
Those glasses are sick! Where cab I get a pair
Boom, boom Barry!
I didn’t know that was Titan at first.
過呼吸なるわこんなん
I love Boom.❤
