I work at Synthes USA for 20 years. We tried to buy a Tornos Swiss Lathe. Got shot down because the owner had A big piece Star . From what it lookeds like it was a mistake. He bought 15 Star sv20s and a few other larger pieces of machining equipment back in 2010. They all turned out to be junk
Better yet…show us a list of shops that even have one of those machines 😂 at least be realistic and show us work being done on machines most of us machinist will actually see on shop floors across the USA.

@@themonkeyproject I know plenty of machinists here in So Cal. I didn’t say no shops have them…Im saying most would never come across one…ever. A 10 spindle Swiss machine?! That’s obviously for show only.
you're not a real machinist until you've made a machine to make a machine to make a single part of yet another machine ✌️😅
A better way to say it:
"The tools that make the tools that make the tools that make the tools." Etc.
50 years a Toolmaker.Utter rubbish.
The machines and the edits just keep getting bigger and better everyday!
You flew in, from another planet, you are wonderful!!!
From Sudan, all respect for the CNC .

Everything is nice and easy with copper and brass. Try that on some MP35N or Nitronic 60.
It’s a Swiss machine-
I’m not saying it couldn’t. I’m just saying it’s not kited for it sometimes
This was a demo piece, he made the same one out of Stainless also
С сожем без проблем - тут просто на камеру резали из латуньки - чтобы что-то кроме сожи видно было )
If you guys haven't already, you should use all these high-precision machines to make yourself custom mechanical pencils. Because why not?
Needs more sudden cuts. I could almost see what's going on
With enough money you can make anything 😅
Good job

Lol, Swiss lathes aren't some magical mystery machine. They're in thousands of shops.
@@themonkeyproject not these super fancy ones they show. I’ve set up and ran plenty Swiss machines. Not one had 10 spindles/chucks
@@F30586 You haven't been in a shop with one. That doesn't mean they aren't out there. Gotta get out of that bubble.
