You have really done your research and I am not surprised that Taiwan ended up on top because this is the best country in Asia. Everyone gets to enjoy the most mesmerizing nature right next to the most modern infrastructure, especially for single female travelers who don't have a lot of world experience. Taiwanese people take good care of everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Taiwan truly deserves all the recognition it gets for its breathtaking nature and the warm hospitality of its people. It's a country that will leave you with unforgettable memories.
I highly recommend Taiwan as your first destination for travelling eventhough I am a chinese.Cuz there are some of the most friendly welcoming and hospitable people over the world. Not to mention How safe this beautiful island is.
As solo female traveler, Taiwan is also my first choice to begin exploring the world as well. Having common sense will be the number one rule to enjoy the country. :D
Hello, I really don't know how I ended here in this video but I'm really glad that I did it. I smiled through all the video because of the good vibes and the interesting and funny things you guys said. I thought about the hard and difficult relationship between me and my parents as well. I respect and admire very much the way you treat, talk, look, educate and encourage your daughter and I hope I can be a good, loving, caring, intelligent and a good father like you someday. Cheers from Buenos Aires, Argentina!
Haha, sometimes RUclips has a way of leading us down unexpected rabbit holes! But I'm so glad you ended up on our video and enjoyed it. It's always great to spread some good vibes and make people smile. Sending you lots of love and good wishes from our family!
Kaitlyn, it’s good and bad that you’ve chosen Taiwan to be your first trip abroad by yourself. It’s good because Taiwan is a safe and rather inclusive society. People there have come a long way in the last two decades in welcoming international visitors as well as engaging themselves with peoples all over the world. On the other hands, it’s bad because you might put down your guards next time you travel elsewhere. In any case, there’s a big world out there, and physically going to places is how one could truly appreciate the abundant goodness out there and realizing how blissed we are being Americans. Very best to you and your Father! Kudos! 👏
Fun fact: The egg tart you ate is Portuguese in origin and is very popular around Taiwan and Hong Kong. Most bakeries and dim sum parlors in American Chinatowns make egg tarts.
Tks, this interview remind me my first solo backpack traveling in 1989. Even now I'm 60. Still prefer to travel alone . Still eager to explore an unfamilier country . Because when you travel just by urself. You'll open eyes, ears to all the new things. If go with group, due to talk will miss many things. Also a different culture, language ,food....will surprise us, could make us look back the things we think it's normal in our daily life. Welcome to join Travellers. By the way, so envy you have such a good dad. Who to lead you, courage you. My dad was a very traditional old Japanese style man. We can only obey what he said. And never reach his high standards. Hello from Taipei, Taiwan
Thanks so much for this video, from a female Taiwanese Canadian planning my own solo trip. If you’re ever going to Taiwan again, there’re many very friendly and helpful foreign RUclipsrs living in Taiwan who you can reach out to if you ever need help or anything. Good luck on your future travels❤
As a Taiwanese who have traveled to both of Japan and Australia I would say the traffic safety in Japan is much better than that in Taiwan but it's more difficult for you to get involved in their societies because in the bottom of their societies it's not easy for them to accept a foreigner as their country folk if you want to scratch beneath the surface. As for Australia I still remember when I walked on a Zimbra crossing a man about 2 meters high suddenly shouted out and swung at me and I just jumped away in time to avoid the hit.
I appreciate you sharing your insights from your travels. It's valuable to hear firsthand experiences and it helps us broaden our understanding of different cultures. Stay safe out there!
Haha, don't worry, you didn't miss anything! I stayed in Taiwan for a week, but I packed tons of amazing experiences into those few days. It's definitely a paradise that I can't wait to visit again!
hmm.... Taiwan, Japan is the safest choice.....after you have better travel experience.... do consider South East Asia like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia....
Super happy that you choose Taiwan! Let me know if you ever come back, would love to hear all about your adventures!

❤

do consider South East Asia like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia....
huh... not to mentioned.... most of SE Asia country exchange rate is friendly to budget conscious young traveller.....
It's not that safe for women to travel alone in Japan actually...even not for the locals
Good to know she has a good opinion of China after spending some time there.
