saya selalu suka Cara Abang ini berpikir dan menyampaikan pesanNya.keren Bang.sangat membuka wawasan,Terimakasih karena ini merupakan ilmu yang sangat mahal.
Wouldn't you say Indonesia having forced cultural representative for each culture (minangkabau, sundanese, javanese, bugis, etc) beats the point of meritocracy?
I hope podcasts featuring English speakers discussing interesting topics in Indonesia will garner international attention. sometimes RUclips's algorithm doesn't work well with Bahasa Indonesia titles when you search outside the country.
Selama gw di sem. akhir kuliah, gw bnyak memeprtanyakan korelasi sosial mistis dengan sciences, dan bagus muljadi selalu bisa ngejawab itu dengan pov yang waw bgd menurut gw!! Dari gimana beliau berpikir, it's just too amazing bruh 😖✨
Love it. It reminds me of Tan Malaka’s Madilog. Indeed, the majority still tends to mysticism, and we can only achieve a greater Indonesia if we adopt scientific thinking, logic, and dialectic
this kind of podcast is what we need the most.. but in this economy.. most people will just eat all the entertaiment theme podcast. but this kind of talk is actually entertaining for me. Good talk guys.
I'm Bagus's fan, been listening to him in Chronicles, in his own channel and pak Gita Wirjawan's; and so glad you guys finally invited him. Young ones should listen to him!
It's sad to know the fact that there are still lots of Indonesians who couldn't understand what this podcast is trying to deliver. This podcast is sooo good, but it's meant to be watched and will be worth multiple times to be watched by lots of people out there who is underprivileged. In order to do that, this podcast needs to be understandable by everyone. Therefore, i think "What Is Up, Indonesia" team should find a way to make every podcast they're going to publish understandable. I suggest a few points: 1. Add Indo subtitle 2. Make shorts, consist of the simplified/compiled strong message/moral of the eps 3. Make text form summary. You can publish it on social media, consist of a few strong takeaways 4. Refer to a "Grandma Test" whenever you guys are wondering "Is this podcast understandable by everyone? " Looking forward for another podcast, and also a smarter nation!
My suggestion is u should invite iman usman from ruang guru, he is one of the key for the success of class of champion, he made nerds look cool and he made us realize that our people can look up to smart people,
this intrigues me a lot especially when kak bagus mentioned about how it correlates with writing, that writing is nature way of showing you how good/sloopy your thinking is-- the ability to accurately articulate ideas, write well... this reminds me of when my friends were surprised to found out that i always got an instant reply form my lectures while they didnt even though we sent the same message at the same time. i think people are more likely to respect and show interest in us when we are good at converting our thoughts into a narrative or good description kayak selling yourself in a written form (im not sure if this relates or not but i once read in a book that description is what makes the reader a sensory partipant in the story).
Unexpected guest and Great discussion.. we should have united narrative to become strong core nationalism country..❤❤ i think the word "garden" is amazing to describe Indonesia..
Enjoy this ep so much. One of my fav is how he bypass the edu by writing email totally enlight me. All those people maybe good at all subject but not all of them expert on writing something. I want to improve and practice my writing skills more. And all of the topics here are totally legit.
well the most narative that we always heard from people outside Indonesia is, Indonesia is having the potential. and they always will be. Will be 'only potential' or grow the potential? i think this also related how we sell or promote ourselves, there's lack of confident in our narrative (what I also suffer from as Indonesian, sometimes I feel timid about myself lol)..... please, we have hope but we sounds desperate clinging into that belief..... i know and belief we can, we are confident.
Ngl this is most impacted podcast for me in this year. I already have an issue with writing and find the gap between conventional way, when i knew he can bypass with much people said impossibility, no no all can fixed by mindset. Yet still I am near 25, I still want to learn how to write.
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. Actually, I am learning English, and I became interested in Mr. Bagus Muljadi after I knew about him through the Kenduri Cinta community, I hope there are always uploads of videos like this🙏🏻
The fact that so many educated people i know watched attack on titan is facinating. Well if you manage to stay off of its toxic shipping fandom on social media and just enjoy the show, you're going to have a great time. The show itself is based on real social and political issue after all.
Modern individuals often perceive themselves as more advanced than their ancestors, which sometimes leads to a disregard for ancient local wisdom. However, this wisdom often carries profound insights that we fail to grasp due to the superficiality of our own thinking. The mystery within this wisdom may serve as a continual source of inspiration, urging us to seek deeper understanding. It keeps me wondering-who truly were our ancestors, and what deeper knowledge did they possess that we have yet to uncover?
Aku bocil kematian bang windah. Sepertinya kebawa kesini gara2 malaka project. Aku suka bgt channel gini buat nambah wawasan. Makasih bang ando dan kak abigeil aku tau kak abigail dari chanel bang radit
First time came to this podcast.. thanks algorithm.. after End Game, Chronicle and Project Malaka.. really enjoy the talk... can't wait for a talk about Attack on Titan with @bagusmuljadi.. and elaboration about (we can called as a project) a needed of Indonesian new narrative (based on Nusantara storytelling but more fun)
Everything said here is absolutely true! Indonesian universities have failed to safeguard the values of education and knowledge. The plagiarism case is literally a gut punch to our entire university system, I am pretty sure this is not the first case and I am very certain there are more cases of active plagiarism done by upper echelons of societies that will do whatever it is necessary to have a certain academic degree attached to their names. This is due to the fact that our society is obsessed with degrees but not with knowledge.
Bagus, i feel you, i am stupid and had low gpa, but today, i lend my job as Senior Full Stack Developer. I had to work and learn harder than other to get through this condition. Switching from Physics to Programming 😂
Wow, what a conversation! I guess my understanding of science has been pretty shaky. This is the first time I’ve even heard of falsifiability. I can't even pronounce it
I think why people watch some of pak Bagus and pak Gita podcast is all about the competence guest and host. So, people do not feel like 'dibohongi', because a lot of gimmicks from government we have
Thanks for having me!
Insightful as always. Pleasure meeting and talking with you (albeit extremely briefly 🥲) in terminal 3 last week Pak.

Love it. It reminds me of Tan Malaka’s Madilog. Indeed, the majority still tends to mysticism, and we can only achieve a greater Indonesia if we adopt scientific thinking, logic, and dialectic
What a great discussion 🙌🙌. We really need more Bagus Muljadi as gen z and gen alpha's role model

From Bagus' story we can now that sometimes luck play a big role in our success story

bottom of the ranking system, BUT at one of the best Uni in the country. I'd still say that's pretty damned impressive.😌

Gosh, what an amazing conversation. There are a lot of insight to take.
Suddenly come thru my mind, "Sabrang (Noe) as guest will be overwhelming...." 🤔
It is very clear, for the next guest please interview Mas Sabrang Mowo Damar Panuluh who is very much in line with the recommended Bagus criteria.

" that narratives makes you want to die for!.. the ethos.. it tells you what the perfect people supposed to act." 47:22 merinding sumpah
from bagus’ story we could also learn that we could create our own luck, or at least make it much more probable
I really enjoying this podcast, more point of view to be absorbed, shout out to Mr. Bagus Muljadi!! I'm a big fan🙌🏻
quality🔥gak sia2 invest waktu 1 jam
Thanks for not watering down your vocabulary, i learned a new word today: undergird
and Infantilization
Undergrad means S1
@@agigagarinasra6738 Undergirded, not undergrad. Two whole different things.
now i'm already a fan. Thankyou for this podcast.

apple ecosystem is a walled garden. its nice on the inside, ONLY ON THE INSIDE. basically exclusive, in my opinion :)
one of the significant narratives of Indonesia is "NKRI harga mati"; will it drive Indonesia to be an advanced country?

I'm loving this diverse talking
love it! LOVE IT!!! Agreed and i feel it too, we’re lacking our own narrative that’s why we’re starting to lose hope
