Christine, you are such a role model not only for the visually impaired but also the sighted. Loved watching you on masterchef and I am looking forward to watching many more webisodes of "Blind Life." Wishing you continued success! All the best, John
Christine - I just stumbled across a video of you on MasterChef. Gordon Ramsay was talking about your delicious pie. I went on RUclips to find more videos of your stuff, and came across your RUclips Channel. I just wanted to say that you are such an inspiration and so brave to continue on...These videos really touched me. My sister recently went blind in the past 6 months. Her eyesight had been slowly deteriorating since she was little. She had been diagnosed with Glaucoma since she was in 5th grade, and has been in and out of surgeries to try to stabilize her eye pressure. Now at 34, she has gone blind - they had tried everything, including replacing a tube in her eye the past 2 years. Her body rejected both surgeries. When she went blind, it was heartbreaking - she has lost everything she was passionate about - drawing, reading and playing video games. She fell into a depression, but rose out of it, and is the strongest woman I know, besides my mom. You have strength and positivity to continue. I see that in my sister. She's just starting to get her bearings and re-learning and discovering things, but showing her your videos really helped her, and us, get the closure we need to continue and move forward. There are so many things she can do! Thank you for that!
Hi Christine, My name is Anthony and I am Chinese born in Houston, Texas. I have watched you on Master Chef season 3. Wow you are a huge inspiration to me. The way I have seen you cook and the great positive attitude and smile you has shown me things do come true when you work hard in believing in what we do,, Thank you
I can So Much Appreciate this! I have a severe heart condition. In 2013 I developed Hypermature Cataracts and went from seeing perfectly to being blind in a matter of 3 months. It was a few months before my Cardiologist would clear me even for relatively simple Cataract surgery in both eyes. I went from not being able to see a human Hand 3 feet in front of my face for a few months to Cataract surgery and perfect vision again. Imagine getting out of a Hot Shower and trying to look thru the fogged bathroom mirror.? Now try cooking. Or doing anything for that matter. Incredible Christine!
first of all. I would like to say congratulations on your well deserved success. . I enjoy cooking, but never really considered Asian food as an option for my weekly shop. you changed all that, and thanks to the mouth watering dishes you created on Master chef. I am now enjoying creative challenge of making my own Asian meals. All thanks to you Christine. . Take care, and best wishes to you and your family X
Christine I wanted to tell u this for a long time when u joined masterchef and actually winning it u have become such a inspiration for a lot of people and myself. I have your cookbook and I tried a few recipes I especially liked the prosciutto and arugula pizza! Plz remember tht even if ur disabled u are such a great cook and that u inspired a lot of adults even children! Wish u the best luck. Aki
I went back to watch the whole season 3 of Master Chef after watching one episode of you being a guest judge in Season 4. Man, you made me tear up in almost all the episodes, you're such an awesome, badass cook!
Thank god it was scripted. What would happen if she said the wrong food item? Unless she remembers what they are by the feel of the containers. I don't know.
You are amazing chị Christine! I watched Masterchef season 3 and then I couldn't stop burning into tears because of your effort, your passion and your optimism. I would love to try your food one day. Keep doing your good job chị because there are a lot of people all over the world support you.
Such a great idea Christine!! Please recap all the events you have celebrated!! Can’t wait the second episode and many more!! I wish I can taste your foods. Looks delicious!!
You are an amazing chef Christine. I've just finished watching the whole masterchef third season. Its been an incredible journey for you. I am happy to see how youve been excelling in this cooking industry. Not everyone can do it. And btw, nice intro song !!

Greetings from Brazil Christine! I'm glad I was in USA at that time and I was able to see your story when you were in MasterChef. I still cry everytime I watch the apple pie episode :) I watched the Jubilee Project short film about you, such an inspiration! You are amazing! ^^ Looking forward for more episodes :D * Elisabete *
Subscribing to this!! You were such an inspiration on MasterChef... Our minds were blown every week! You're such a busy woman - hope you have some down time!!
Hi Christine- Your dishes looks very yummy. I like to try your cooking. Will you be visiting the east cost anytime soon, maybe the Boston area for any cooking event.
I'm so excited I found your RUclips channel on the Guthy Jackson Facebook page! I've been losing vision for 14 yrs due to NMO but I love learning new tips and tricks! Will you be sharing some tips for cooking as visually impaired? Please do! Thank you for starting this channel!
Hello, Ms. Ha. I really enjoyed this introductory episode and shared it on Facebook. I am losing my eyesight and am learning to cook with out seeing so well. I have "memories" of proper/safe knife use, for example. I was wondering if in various upcoming episodes of Blind Life you would perhaps have short segments where you showed and gave detail verbal instructions, of basic and advanced cooking techniques that blind people can use. Thank you, and I look forward to the next episode!
Hello Christine! I am also blind and I have so much enjoyed watching all your videos! I think it is so cool that you are able to demonstrate in these videos how blind people live and thrive! I love to cook and bake, too! When I could see better, I loved making stir fry in my wok...but now that my sight is not good anymore...is it possible to stir fry as a visually impaired /blind person? Do you cook Asian stirs fries in the wok?
You're such an inspiration Christine :) You're the reason why I believe that I can achieve what I want to if I want to :) I subscribed and hope to see more of you :)
That was a very inspirational video and I really enjoyed it, being one of your fans. My name is Liam Chun and I'm Colorado and what I want to know is now that your a cook (and officially the first blind one) and won MC, do you have any dreams you want to accomplish now and what are they?
I like this series. I'm curious for a question, who is in charge of the editing and filming? Is it your husband or a friend or a family member? It would be cool if we see who is behind the scenes. In future episodes, I think it would be good to show some cooking demonstrations on stuff.
I really liked this video and hope to see future episodes. It's always hard to come up with suggestions to future episodes, especially when having only seen one, but I think I have a few. These ideas might not seem very original, though, and I'm pretty sure someone else has already posted them. Do what you do best: Cooking. Introduce us to new, exotic, easy to make and/or difficult meals to make for yourself. Maybe you could show some tricks that makes cooking easier for us all. Go out and eat stuff. Try something new and fun and let us join you in the experience, as you enjoy or dislike exotic foods and review them. Not only food, but take us with you when you do stuff we wouldn't expect visually impaired people to do; like snowboarding or bowling. Introduce topics that are important to you. Are there social issues you feel strongly about? Discuss different forms of art such as writing or music, and remind us of the non-visual beauty that exists all around us. Discuss news topics that are important to you. Is there anything happening around the world you have a strong opinion on? Invite friends in front of the camera. Sometimes two people can be twice as good as one. It can create dynamic and introduce new angles on different topics. Also, if you do unscripted episodes it can be really good to have someone sparring you and can create great discussions, especially if this person doesn't always agree with you.

Its really weird when you are showing the items in your fridge because it looks as if you are looking at them to see what they are. Also is the red rectangle container with rounded edges GoChuJang? It looked like it from the tiny peak but I wasnt 100% sure.
By far my FAVORITE winner of Master Chef!!!!
