  • In this game of TF2, I once again play on Dustbowl as a Machina Sniper. For some reason, every single time I do this, I get called out for cheating. Even if I am doing horribly in the game. (Also this message in the brackets is so I can see who actually reads my descriptions. If you are reading this, the discord server is in its beginning stages of being created) Anyways, Enjoy the show :)

      I think it was more of the fact that fat instantly went for him. I think the hmm was "did I take fall damage?" It would be very suspicious if he didn't take fall damage and fat instantly went for him. (he did, and figured out he did later in the video in chat). The invisible spy check isn't a good measurement though anyway as bots can ignore invisible spies, a good one is decloaking far away, and then standing behind the sniper. If he 180 headshots you, it's clearly a bot. If not, then it's likely he's legit, or just a smart hacker who can toggle (smart hackers are rare as most are kids :l ).

    it irritates me, not only as a sniper main but as a FPS enjoyer in general how quickly someone will try and witch hunt a player that isn't a bot or a hacker, but will take ages to kick a genuine hacker and bot just because they're a different class to a sniper.
    i've seen bots and hackers use all the classes, just because someone is a good sniper doesn't always mean they're cheating, that goes for everyone. but it can also be insanely obvious when someone *is* cheating, for example scouts using force of nature and using a double click + crit hack, or spies using a lag cheat so they can easily backstab/facestab people, or heavies using a spinhack.
    the amount of times i get called a hacker even though my aim is barely decent on a good day is ridiculous.
    at this point it's just a sniper witch hunt.

    • @bugsmith9751
      @bugsmith9751 2 года назад +1

      its not just snipers my guy, when people get high crit rate because of their damage output, people start claiming crit hacks, and i have been called a heavy bot a number of times because of probably 200-300 hours as a heavy main with little off classing... 200 hours of heavy leads to really good tracking, and some people think if you track better than them, that you must be cheating

      all im saying really is all of it is ridiculous how anyone that has more then 100 hours on a class or even just knows HOW to play a class is instantly votekicked or reported on steam by braindead people who can't tell the difference.

    I wonder how people feel when they accuse someone of cheating and then see themselves in one of these videos. Is it embarrassing or do they still refuse to believe they were legit?

    • @MM-qs1nu
      @MM-qs1nu 2 года назад +18

      It most likely depends. Some people saw how good he was, and honestly thought he was too good and was hacking in some way, then they see the video and feel bad about it. There are a ton of people though who have such massive egos, they cant accept the fact hes that good, so they hold onto that belief with their fragile egos.

    perhaps the worst part of the ongoing tf2 bot crisis isn't actually getting one in your game
    it's the fact that players are now so used to cheaters that it only takes one butthurt cheat accusation and everyone just goes with it
    i remember a time when people were a lot smarter when it came to sniffing out cheaters

      some people call hackusations on innocent players, and they get the boot, some people call out blatant hackers, and people say they are just good... i have literally called out some one whose steam name was a link to their youtube which was just them hacking, and people defended him on both teams saying he was probably just good, had nothing to say about his yt channel tho, just kept saying hes a good sniper main

    • @bugsmith9751
      @bugsmith9751 2 года назад +2

      i honestly never understood idolization, if i meet some one who i like from yt, movies, or shows, then its basically a hello, and saying i enjoy their work, and treat them like a human, but when people actually freak out and even faint (and i have met some one who claims that no one is like that irl, when there is footage of it through time) thats just insanity to me
      the other thing i dont get, is people who dont find people who fit their opinions, but change their own personality and opinions to match the person who they like, and find a way to justify anything said person does

    What’s funny is that watching you makes me feel better about missing 10 shots in a row before only managing to hit body shots for like 20 minutes. I’ll be doing super well at sniper and then just suck randomly for seemingly no reason other than the wind changing direction or something.
    Shows me it’s really just the way it goes. Same with every class, really. But I expect myself to always be perfect. I’m in the process of learning to be more patient with myself in all areas of my life, and this is legit an example I should practice on.

    • @Fatmagic
      @Fatmagic  4 месяца назад +1

      My videos are highlights as well too. It is very normal for snipers to just miss their whole clips sometimes lmao. I sure has hell have super off days. But of course those don't make for a good videos so no one really sees them. But I can assure you that it happens. Being patient with one's self is a really good way to take your emotions out of it and practice and improve much better with real focus. And I do agree that it helps in all aspects of life too not just games. Keep it up!

    I just leave when I get in a match with an ultra low settings 3000 hour sniper (or annoying hard class main in general). No point in getting mad about it, though there's always like a 20% chance your leave message will be put in a frag compilation

    • @bugsmith9751
      @bugsmith9751 2 года назад +3

      if im up against an insane sniper or heavy, i dont leave, i personally love the challenge of finding something they dont expect that you can take them on with.
      one of the best matches i have had was mostly me trying to fight the best heavy main i have ever seen, and their pocket med, while only playing demo to better my demo skill, i only took out the pair once, near the end of the 2fort round, and actually added them because they were respectful, and a honestly fun challenge
      im a casual player when it comes to most games, but some times i actively look for challenges, because they can be fun as hell, but i do respect some one who can realize when something will get them mad and avoid it, its so rare to find, im a salt miner in any competitive game, if i see that some one gets angry, i dig at it to make them more predictable, but i also warn people thats what im doing after a moment, only met 1 person who when i told them thats what i was doing, they stepped back and calmed down
      final summation, its very late, im very tired, and i dont know when to stop typing when im tired

    • @gen2777
      @gen2777 2 года назад +1
