- I joined a server and within 2 minutes, I already had people losing their minds. Not sure why some TF2 players decide to be in an eternal state of Anger and Cheating lmao. I would say that it is because people hate Sniper but this seems to happen when I play any class so I am not too sure that that is the issue. Community servers seem to be no different than the normal matchmaking servers either in regards to this. Though with Community Servers, you can at least hear what the other players have to say haha. Anyways, don't harass anyone who appears in the video and Enjoy!

Thank you guys for pointing out that the weird hitbox is some old glitch as opposed to cheats when I asked you guys at the end of the video. I now have the knowledge. From what you guys tell me, it is an animation glitch where they are actually crouching so the hitbox I would have to aim for is the crouching one. It seems he was doing the same thing that I do to everyone else in terms of making people think they are cheating, only with an advanced technique haha. (technically cheating but not in the sense of downloading hacks) What goes around comes around. Props to him though, he got me haha. GGs

I wonder how he did that on harvest though, I managed to do that glitch on a community server with a map that had a platform that was sending me high into the sky, by holding "crouch" from the moment I was falling I was able to do the same thing, but I couldn't recreate it the other way. Maybe harvest's roofs are enough for that I guess and I was doing something wrong during my other attempts on smaller places of the map.
Orcus Fortune really stole the show this episode, I've never heard someone lay into a cheater like that so calmly.

God I love when people flame cheaters on their own team. Sometimes I'm almost convinced that TF2 players are capable of free thought
its extremely common to flame cheaters on your team in counter strike, but the cheaters almost always queue with a friend or someone they bribed to never vote yes to kick the cheater so he can never be kicked, so the entire match just becomes trying to offend the cheater until he leaves

7:40 to 8:00 is just... that sequence of actions was probably the most infuriating thing you could've done to that guy.
Refuse to engage with him, just run around ignoring him, casually drop another player, and when he tries to get your attention, just kill him instantly by snap shooting. It's brutal.

It is a bug that is similar to the winger bug where if you do something like jump and crouch at the last second, it does the idle animation instead of showing you crouched. However I do also believe that he was cheating along with using this bug from this clip here 2:54
Considering that he did what I believe would be the minimal time for you to be able to headshot another person after scoping in (the 0,2 seconds headshot delay)

arbiteaux is using an exploit called quantum crouch which is a player model glitch where you are crouching while your model is standing. This can be circumvented by aiming for the players chest instead of head.
I thought quantum crouch was patched
or did they only patch it letting you clip through certain walls?

I think Delfy might've shown the glitch Arbiteaux was using. Basically, it makes the sniper look like he's standing even if he's moving when in reality he's crouching.
I have played with Orcus Fortune a couple times in EGO and he's always hilarious. I'm glad he really tear into that cheater

The guy has 11k hours on tf2, so while he definitely was cheating by abusing exploits, I don't think he was using an aimbot.
Even then, there’s no excuse for using an exploit for a competitive edge. Especially if you have 11k hours

the second sniper is using a glitch, basically f you jump and double crouch mid air (holding the ctrl the second time), then the character stays in this "afk" animation while he is actually crouched. it just a visual glitch
pretty sure he was just quantum crouching, not sure how to consistently do it but if you crouch jump and then immediately release and crouch again, you will keep crouching but your model stands up. keep holding crouch the 2nd time. theres no way for you to know if youre doing it yourself in a pub but on a private server i think you can see it with thirdperson or you could ask a friend whos with u

It is likely hes using a glitch where you can be permanently in the idle animation by using the contractor, i don't remember how you do it but it changes your hitboxes to that of the idle contractor while from other peoples perspective it remains as just the idle animation.
i got those shot where it leave blood on the character model but doesnt do damage so many time, and it happen a lot more often after the recent patch, especially melee hitreg
but i think what he did here is a cheat, but im not sure if its 100% cheat or exploit, cause it look like the bug where the cahracter is stuck inside an animation, like contract, which mean the sniper stuck in a standing position while the actual sniper is crouching. there is a vid explained the exploit on delfy vid a while ago, but i remember you need a lil more setup at spawn than a switch to turn it on and off like this guy here

If no-one else has explained the animation glitch happens from crouching and jumping a certain way. Essentially he is crouching scoped in, but the game displays his model as standing unscoped, you can tell if someone is using this because either clear hs on the model will noreg, or if theyre moving very slowly and the model isnt displaying a moving animation. To counter simply aim for a crouching snipers head, around the center-right waist of the standing one.

the glitch the cheater was using is a jump crouch bug and the animation doesn't match the hitbox. His hitbox is crouched when his player model is idly standing. if you ever run into it again just shoot his chest and you'll prob get it. Keep up the swagger!

As someone with experience dealing with these kinds of player, the glitch is basically them crouching, so aim where the head would be if they were crouching

I vaguely remember seeing something about a glitch to do with looking like your not crouching when you actually are but I don't remember anything about it, likely an exploited glitch rather than a hack or something
the no headshot is actually a glitch where you crouch and jump at a certain time at the same time and then your hitbox will be crouching but not your model

For the second guy, there's a crouch jump glitch where you can make your model appear as if it's standing and be crouching, it's a little difficult to pull off. Honestly still could be cheating, wouldn't surprise me in a valve game lol

Abusing a glitch is exploiting, which is just as bad either way. Like yeah lots of people exploit for the haha funny like doing citizen pose (t-pose/a-pose), but he was clearly doing it for a competitive edge. Assuming he wasn't actually cheating it's still just as bad.
Yeah that glitch exploit, I remember some dude was teaching someone in a 2fort server how to do it and as a cloak and dagger spy I happened to be spectating them doing that exploit.

alright so he's doing some sort of crouch and jump at the same time to bug out his animations, so it'll show his idle pose while he and his hitboxes are actually crouched, that's why you couldn't hit him

The aim part should be cheats, however the sniper model moving part is actually a glitch, pretty much that the contractor taunt glitch it basically change the hitbox into sniper’s crouch hitbox but the character model doesn’t change. So you’d see him standing still but you’d have to shoot his body to actually headshot him.

I've seen users with Lbox and NCC and i could tell you right now that the sniper rapidly taping the smg was him using NCC the whole time, someone told me they have less accurate smg triggerbot than lmaobox so it makes that awkward stutter shots

That dude was cheating. You saw how briefly he was aim locking and jittering, that was an aimbot he had. But he turned it off since he realized it was very obvious. So then he got his cheat software to use a bug where it shows the idle animation when his hitbox is crouching
the last part is not cheating but a glitch, iirc from elmaxo’s machina video the guy explains the thing, i’ve seen it many times but never understood how it works but there’s that

my friend maf(aka arb1ter) doesn't cheat. he snipes in RGL highlander at the highest division (invite) the hitbox displacement exploit is something you do by double crouching in the air in a certain way and keeping crouch held. he uses that and cornersniping too frequently against people he doesn't like in pubs, that would be a fair criticism, but he isn't cheating. you are a very ignorant player who has never experienced the game outside pubs, drop your delusions of knowledge.
