If there was something that I didn't cover in this video, post below and I might be able to point you to another of my videos where I did cover it. If not, I'll cover it in a future video!
I'm very jealous. Very cool work. It is a pity that I do not know how to solder metal. I really want to make roll cage for my Baja Rey. Take my subscribe!)
Thanks! Nice camera work on your videos, btw. Brazing metal is very doable. You just need a small amount of equipment and a little practice. I know there are tons of videos on RUclips that can help you get started. I plan to do a video describing the process eventually.
Looks like it has held up well! I have trouble holding my rods / tubes exactly where I need them before brazing. Do you make jigs or just use magnets etc?
Thanks, Dale. I held everything together with a lot of magnets. Take a look at this video - I posted all of my progress photos in a series. You can see how I printed out the design and laid the tubes/rods on top and used magnets to hold everything in place while I brazed: ruclips.net/video/lt5-jTo4WkU/видео.htmlm54s
I’ve been watching your vids for quite sometime now and I’m always impressed with your builds, stellar work. What wheels and tires are you running? Thanks in advance
Eric - thanks for the comments and kind words. Wheels are by AlienTac: www.alientac.com/collections/cars-trucks/products/4pcs-black-rivets-2-2-alloy-beadlock-wheel-rim-set-for-1-10-rc-crawler-thk-1-4?variant=26963417222 Tires are the RC4WD Dune T/A: store.rc4wd.com/Dune-TA-22-Off-Road-Tires_p_719.html
The arms are some cheap Chinese arms I found on one of those websites that shits direct from China - they were like $5USD. The rear axle is www.metalconceptsrc.com/. If I were to buy new arms, I would go with MetalConcepts front arms as well.
Yah, I see Metal Concepts is sold out. That’s bad news. I’ll need new axles eventually because I beat on my truck pretty hard and at 12lbs, it tends to break axles.
For simplicity. Running the trucks in the dirt was something I was doing with my daughter and having to deal with the fuel, staring, tuning, etc wasn't fun for her. Daddy was constantly dealing with nitro issues instead of just enjoying his time with his daughter. Electric solved a lot of those issues.
I've only run two different trophy truck bodies. The Yeti Score and the Ford Raptor. I prefer the Raptor but if you are into the old-school look, the Yeti Score body is pretty cool.

Fantastic work, spectacular! The chassis is a real work of art.
Thank you! Stay tuned - I have a new video coming early next week!
If you spray the inside of the body with lineX or a truck bed liner it will make the body much more rigid
Thank you for going into detail with your truck. This is inspiration for me to build my cage.
Awesome! Glad it was helpful. Stay tuned, I do plan to add more content in the near future.
Are you still planning on getting this thing in the dirt, would love to see more.
I do, I just don't know when. I'm all geared up for some great footage and edits so I really have no excuses. Just need to do it.

I found out that Metal Concepts is being distributed by 949designs.com. Check them out. They are stocking and should have new gear soon.
Another one!
Another video?
Nothing ment to be bad... this is another piece art.
why did you convert to electric?

any recomendations on cool bodies?

Where do you get the chassis
I built it from scratch. Check my other videos.
