I tried to teach the calamity mod to my friend who has over 1000 hours on terraria but has never fully played through the calamity mod, this video as absolutely wild and I cant wait to show you the second part in which we challenge supreme calamitas !

I’ve played normal terraria for over 4 years and I just started the calamity mod a week ago but that rlly shows you how fun the normal game is and the mods just add more cool stuff

mine is nkg, mostly for the fact where i was getting absolutely DESTROYED by him when I had owned the game on xbox one, and then proceeded to beat him first try on pc.
My first calamity playthrough was after I'd beaten the base game 2 times and I had about 200 hours . I beat it at revengeance with the ranger class , it was suuuuper fun and I loved it . I will never forget Providence .... 39 attempts and a lot of death

I've never done a true playthrough for calamity. I always either do hybrid or swap between classes in pre hardmode depending on my luck.
All the fun parts in Calamity come in Revengance mode ngl

in calamity pearlwood is heavily buffed and the lumber jack sells pearlwood prehardmode
btw small fact: wulfurm armor right now just a summoner armor. right now the best armors for melee at pre bosses is gi or platium/gold armor

You finished the tutorial, now do infernum,revengeance,death,anti-buff, fargos master mode and eternity mode.

Death mode pre hard mode only took me 3 hrs to finish while killing all optional bosses with 2 deaths. Rusty beacon prototype is so good 😅

Mage is fun. No bias at all. Grand Staff of the Nebula Mage is a great weapon. Again, totally no bias.

I feel like an idiot, because both in Terraria, Calamity Mod and Fargo's Soul I've always had the habit of playing on the highest difficulty without ever having played the game before, so I suffer unnecessarily to learn out of sheer stupidity

Death mode is pretty doable. Ive done a melee class and magic class playtrough. Rn im doing a summoner class playtrough, since i barely use summons. (I like doing class runs, instead of using the best weapons available, or combining classes)
Get the rusty beacon prototype as soon as you can, it literally shreds every single pre hard mode boss except for slime god. Also use dank staff until you kill skeletron prime bc it’s busted
