I absolutely love Skeleton's concepts of cheating. Taking blocks from the Builder's Workshop or buying 30 potions for an infinite buff is just reduces grinding and I totally agree with you. Yes, Infernum should make you suffer, but I'll leave that to the bosses. The game can remain challenging, but it must be comfortable at the same time. Everyone adjusts the Modded Terraria for themselves.
Yeah I also have a few mods installed, that f.e. get rid of all the grinding, bc frankly im not the best terraria player and it's just really demotivating for me to farm for boss summons and potions over and over again, if i die. Tmodloader has many mods, that make my terraria life sooo much more enjoyable.

A little tip for if you ever get the golem arena glitch in future runs: Fargo’s mod has an item called the “lihzahrd instactuation bomb” which clears out a larger space around the altar
a bit of advice for summoner use more then one kind of summon, the caustic staff does low damage but debuffs enemies so its good when used in conjunction with other summons, and play more passively, I know it can be a tad bit boring for some but your summons can take care of most of the work, you will still need to tag enemies for extra damage but for the most part focus on the dodging, lastly place and play around sentries they are free damage, hope this advice can be of some use to you in future playthroughs
Yeah, I enjoyed the video, but I honestly got kind of annoyed by him constantly blaming the summoner class for his failed attempts, since his play style is way off for what summoner is good for.
Few notes about Calamity summoner; unlike regular terraria, calamity seems to encourage the use of multiple different summons at once. For example in early hardmode, the little dragon summon does weaker damage but inflicts an I hope debuff on enemies. I would have at least one out at a time with the hard hitting summons to do more damage. There are a lot of summons who have little quirks that would benefit having multiple different types out. Like the terraria summoner, you are really frail and cannot take a hit at all. I’ve found that Calamity does not reward summoners staying too close to a boss to hit them and treat the game like a bullet hell instead. Always focus on DPS with summons because it is a game of who can outlast the other with bosses.
Yeah, Summoner is a glass cannon class, you can deal a TON of damage and AFK but your defense is lower than the other classes. Normally I don't have a problem with Summoner, but yeah, Infernum hits like truck. Also Infernum looks amazing, also maybe try seeing if in the configs you can lower the light/ color of certain attacks if you encounter another Empress situation with the flashy attacks. I'm excited to the 2nd part, I feel like in day 365 Skeletron is gonna become as bald as the actual Skeletron.

Caustic staff isn't supposed to be used by itself if I recall. It's strength is the amount of debuffs it inflicts and it works best if you have 1 or 2 among your actual minion of choice.
Awesome video man! Just some feedback- Boss fights are sometimes more interesting if you don't know what the outcome is, so if you don't tell us whether you won or not before the fight it makes some tension 👍
The little info screens are nice before a boss also when you get a weapon the little preview is nice especially for people that dont know calamity I'll be here waiting for part 2❤
Hey! I don’t usually comment but I wanted to on this video. Great video! You can tell you put a lot of time and effort in and you can see you bits of comedy sprinkled out. I want to recommend something though. Your little boss introductions (with the difficulty and a little bio) are great times to add to the video in small ways. But, they were only on the screen for a couple seconds so I had to pause it to catch them. This is a fun time to add to the video and you can get creative describing them. There are a few other small places that experience will help you iron out but let me say once again you’ve done a great job! Keep it up (:

Just build up from basic calamity in expert/master mode with revengence/death mode. It will still be tough to jump into infernum, but it is still possible.
First of all: everybody hates Aureus (excluding absolute psychopaths) and secondly: I also always use the Alchemist Npcs otherwise the grinding for potions (Especially in infernum) would just be a massive waste of time. Love your videos ❤

I recommend you go watch a not hit of empress of light, all the attacks have a good dodge pattern, its just hard to figure it out on your own for a lot of them. Personally I didn't feel the boss was very cheap it was one of my favourites. And yea the terraprisma was made a normal drop, no bugs there.

Summoner class isn’t bad, it just has weak defense. Also damage might be not so good but it’s fine because you can literary do nothing sometimes or at least you don’t need to be close to enemy.
Probably could've made the Twins and Skeletron Prime easier if you just went back and fought the clam in the sunken sea as it would give you the shellfish staff which is really good for single segment bosses early hardmode all the way to Plantera.
I would suggest if you want to be a true gamer and stay with Summoner that you get the "Summoners Association" mod, can craft an item that'll let you automate summoning your minions anytime you die with a preset that you can freely edit via RMB, save with double-RMB, and reset with LMB. If you decide you want a crutch and go another class with more defense then don't bother but if you stay Summoner then I'd 100000000000000000000000000% suggest getting that mod. ALSO you're missing a lot of damage by not using Sentries which are a decent chunk of Summoner's damage. Otherwise this was a good video, watched it while I cooked/ate dinner! Thanks for the content!
I think that whipless summoner in calamity is, like, better. I can just focus on dodging and everything is fine. Though due to the fact that dog was laggy and therefore unfun, i decided to skip it, so idk how much problems a summoner has against it Also, underestimating the wulfrum gun was a big mistake on your side, it was worth it even for me, who has 0 multitasking. Even on queen bee, the armor was good enough to justify using it. On skeletron i had to dodge too hard to even use the gun, so i was in bee armor... Or maybe in obsidian outlawr armor, as it might have been just better than bee armor even whipless

summoner is more beginner friendly class so you can learn the ropes sacrificing damage for safer gameplay style. that's why it feels awkward if you are a veteran

Calamity mod makes Terraprisma drop at the same rate as other boss weapons, as well as making Daytime EoL a more challenging fight instead of instakill
A a summoner main, its not that summoner is trash, its just mainly a class you NEED to practice your dodge skills on cuz yer MUCH squishier. I flat out have refused to use buffs on summon class to add to its difficulty.

If you havent already completed infernum use the calamity loot swap mod. It saves a bunch of time grinding bosses for the correct weapon.

Skeletron why did you not craft Proxima Centauri from calamity whips mod when you activated it (post scal whip for boss rush)
Calamity mod makes Terraprisma drop at the same rate as other boss weapons, as well as making Daytime EoL a more challenging fight instead of instakill
A a summoner main, its not that summoner is trash, its just mainly a class you NEED to practice your dodge skills on cuz yer MUCH squishier. I flat out have refused to use buffs on summon class to add to its difficulty.
