- Petra Deeter rejected her father in childhood due to her mother's alienating behaviours. It wasn't until she had been an alienated parent for years she heard about the concept of Parental Alienation - and finally understood what she had been going through, both as a child and as a mother. Petra shares her heartbreaking story of realizing what she had been forced to do against her father as a child and how she managed the alienation with her own children.
Petra Deeter is an award-winning film director and a social impact builder. She is the founder of the Victim To Hero Institute which provides trauma-informed education and resources to empower victims and survivors of trauma and psychological abuse. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering and is working on another PhD in Psychology, specializing in parental alienation.
The interview is filmed on location of the International Conference on Shared Parenting in Athens, Greece, 2023.

A good story ❤Your Dad knew one Day❤❤❤you would find out❤❤❤courts & society do this to good people, it's uncivil❤they do it because they are bread evil & Do evil, & they put it into jurisprudence & pass it around in jurisdictions ❤to pick pocket
“Your child can become an adult…” but forever stunted & incapable of growth beyond the age at which the alienation began. It’s SO hard!!!
