    If someone would have taught music in that manner when I was a youngster, I would actually kept learning! Instead I was board to death with the classical approach. As a wild kid with ADD and dyslexia, it's needless to say I never succeeded being consistent.
    I've watched two of your tutorials, and made the best beat I've made so far. And the greatest thing is I feel I can recreate what I was doing again and again, And probably get better.
    I thank you from the bottom of my heart! God bless you!

    Can you do a tutorial on how you compress/eq your kicks to sound so crisp?

    • @alechaynes4377
      @alechaynes4377 7 лет назад +5

      Ayite96 - Music Theory Made Easy It's how you place your melody over your kicks

    • @ZayBeatztm88
      @ZayBeatztm88 7 лет назад +7

      Ayite96 - Music Theory Made Easy dont need to compress just level and eq your shit

    • @HXVOK
      @HXVOK 7 лет назад +18

      I think experience is best. There are no panaceas. No one size fits all. My suggestion would b to try all sorts of things. different settings. Normalized, trim, compressed eq layered, because there will be times when you use each and times when you dont. Knowing you options makes you a more powerful producer than just knowing one formula for one sound

    • @DubzCo
      @DubzCo 7 лет назад +2

      your starting off wrong by thinking you must comp a kick...listen to it first then you should know if it needs more attack (transient designer) or if it needs EQ or even pitch shifting if its in the wrong key...if it still sounds wrong...change the damn kick

    • @DubzCo
      @DubzCo 7 лет назад +1

      ive never 'normalised' a kick track in my life and have records on 1Xtra/Link up/SBTV where do you guys get this silly misinformed info....oh yeah...youtube
