- Built this huge monitor enclosure for one of my awesome customers. He sure does know how to treat his black throat monitor. :) Lucky lizard!!

What would you do if you had an enclosure this size?????

I would put my carpet python in there. And make it bio active and put branches in so she can climb. Also make that’s shelf her hot spot.and under I would make a cave so she can hide

Nice job on the build. A little more detail on gluing and calking the inside corners and seams and what type of screws are used on the cage would also be helpful. What is the inside white exactly called? And did you say you stained it black or was this rattle can paint?
The enclosure is one of the best ones I have seen.

This thing is like exactly the same as my kimberley rock monitor enclosure except mine splits horizontally into an upper piece and a lower piece instead of one in front and one in the back

You can get it from a local glass or a company that makes their own windows usually. Not sure what this sealanr is that he used, but you should use a 2 part epoxy for any wood that will hold damp substrate.

What waterproof sealant do you use? My Asian water monitor is about to need a new cage probably be a little bit bigger, thinking like 7x9x6, and considering the size, I want to find a more cost-effective way to waterproof. Usually, use great stuff and coat it with silicone and coco coir and dirt. I am not trying to spend that much money right now tho.

Hi, I checked out your website for pricing and I’m curious if you have had to raise your prices due to the cost of materials. I own my own small business as well doing woodworking and inflation of building materials has hurt. I have made about 6 reptile enclosures myself and I use PVC panels to do so. It’s running roughly $90 a sheet where I’m located.
What kind of sealant paint did you use

Idk if this interests you but betting you could make a decent little side hustle if u began building plywood fish tanks as well.. based on how well you did this one I have no doubt u would build some nice ply-tanks

This customer payed $1,300. Not too bad for this 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 2 story house. 😁 If you're wondering where the bathroom is in the enclosure it wherever the lizard decides.😂

What white waterproof sealant do you use?
I use a product called dryloc extreme. I'm actually filming a RUclips video right now showing the simple water resistant finishes I recoment. I'm hoping the video will be finished in about a week. I'm just wating for the sealant to fully cure.

What type of wood do you guys use for your cages? Building a cage for my argus and don't know what wood to use for the frame. I know pressure-treated isn't good.

Shipping this enclosure completely assembled would require expensive freight shipping. Recently I have thought of a new way to ship this size reptile enclosure at a more cost efficient price. It would come in 2 separate boxes unassembled.
