- Growing old is huge business. And something most of us would say is something we would rather sidestep, or if not, at least make the best of. Over a trillion USD are spent every year and the market is growing. When we consider the aging face, multiple industries exist to try and alter the outcome. We have everything from hair, make up beauty, surgical and non-surgical intervention, skin protection, skin treatments, dental work to name a few. No, we describe the anatomical basics of facial ageing, allowing the viewer to understand what it is that makes one person look older than the next, and maybe what it is about their face that they don't like when they look in the mirror.. Here at @adamgoodwinsurgery we try to reveal the hidden secrets behind many plastic surgery techniques. In this video, we discuss how a lot of what you thought about facial ageing and what that means for the average person is not the whole story. Watch the video and you'll understand a lot more about what happens, and more importantly what can be changed. I suspect many patients would very much like to know the answers to some of these questions before they next consider stepping into the aesthetics office.

Hi adam goodwin i am coming see you next week for a possible facelift.. have you ever heard of digastric muscles and submandibular muscles or glands ive read that sometimes this is done during a face-lift and why would this be done and what are the benefit of that approach.
we can of course chat when you come but yes there are distinct advantages to the addition;l surgery but some downsides too. more scars and longer recovery mostly.

@@adamgoodwinsurgerythanks for getting bk to me.. your right in what you say we can spot a older person from a mile away so it just shows its not just about skin aging it's about bone structure changes muscles volume it is kinda hard to point out what makes a person look old lol .. I have jowls and marionette lines I'm 37 feels like my lower face is sagging down the rest looks OK to me lol. I think mine is some bone loss .
