I really think that Walt had planned to let Domingo loose if he hadn't reached for the piece of plate that he had tucked away. Walt was trying so hard to see the good in him, even up until the point of killing him. Walt could have just killed him another way, but he went the extra step to confirm Domingo's intentions before going through with it.

I think the toilet was safe from being eaten up by the acid because there is constant water to dimute it ..maybe but yeah it does look thick enough to clog the toilet it's interesting how Walt was remembering his lesson on what makes up the human body as hebis cleaning up a human body like he is trying to desensitized himself as Jesse is over there about to lose it lol
