The younger brother smoking weed kind of shows that the parents are doing something that’s causing both of their kids to turn to drugs. That’s something they need to realize before the cycle repeats
they lack realistic expectations & genuine approachableness / empathetic understanding. nothing but judgement + tough love = ∅ trust (zero empathy)
.....and the cycle has already began to repeat - as seen in younger bros. actions.
sadly, once they discover it'll b3 too late to change anything --- and that'd br ONLY IF they recognized the role THEY played in what went left (and i truly doubt that!)

jesse triiping made me remember when i was tripping from alcohol an sleep depriwals... i was seeing insects everywhere was killing stuff that didnt exist saw people in my room... then at one point one of those peoples disappered... and i finally after hours started questioning my self that am i hallucinating... then i just went to sleep... when i woke up i was hoping that it was all just dream but all the evedince was there of my insanity
The reason meth addicts trip like that isn't because of the drug itself. it's the lack of sleep. The drug makes you feel very good and euphoric at first, but then you can't sleep because of the severe dopamine high, then you get paranoid from lack of sleep. Just letting you know since you said you didn't understand why people would want to do that or feel that way. People don't want to feel that way, it's just a side effect of no sleep.

how crazy is it that Better Call Saul just makes this series even BETTER and is arguably the better show at the same time. Just wait until you guys get a couple seasons into that.
25:24 - I'm sorry to tell you guys, but where I live, healthcare is public, and nothing is really free, the fees are huge in all economy and the quality of life is deteriorating with the swelling of the state. It is important that things like health are treated with rationality, not emotion. Medicines and hospital machinery are expensive as they depend on huge production and research chains. Offering everything for "free", via the state, is nothing more than clumsy populism that, on top of that, distorts economic signals in the area of medicine.
The most the state can do is serve people today in exchange for more difficulties in the future. Believing in state service is condemning our offspring to ever more misery, in a spiral of wealth destruction by the time. Capitalism is still the least worst system that humanity has discovered/invented. Things like universal healthcare are just rhetorical tools and economic juggling to win votes. Congratulations to modern democracy.
PS - It is also worth remembering that doctors can treat patients for free, or provide voluntary services regardless of government interference, love for humanity is not impeded by capitalism, it only quantifies it and allows the storage of the value of work, like any tool: there is no moral. This show is vastly inspiring to philosophize about all, I'm loving remembering this incredible masterpiece with you. Greetings from Brazil.

That's sad when you think about how far the seasons go and the movie and everything thay happens that was the last time Jesse saw and spoke to his brother crushing his weed for him i think his brother never touched it again because in the movie he is on a trip so seems like he stayed on track but Jesse never gets to talk to him little brother again
He tells them about the best meth but remembers that he is supposed to sell it not smoke it but then they want to leave but he doesn't want to be alone you will notice that way later when he goes through truama he doesn't like to be alone with his thoughts and yea his friends dont seem to care about him now but later they become pretty loyal to him Skinny Pete and Badger do anyways all the way to the movie

My brother has been an off and on meth addict for a while now. It is because they like the way the drug makes them feel, More than they hate the way they feel when it wears off. But according to my brother it has a cumulative effect over time. Meaning the longer you go using it the worse the Crash when it wears off. Eventually it would get to a point where he would stop smoking because he was afraid of how awful he felt after. But just like it's a cumulative build, It's also a gradual recession back to normalcy. Which means they're back to getting that good feeling and they're gonna keep on doing it. Meth, crack, heroin, and narcotic pills are the hardest to quit.
