F1 headed to Miami for the 5th round of the 2023 season, and it was another race of Red Bull domination... Thankfully the rest of the weekend was a little more interesting, so here are my thoughts on all the drama, both on and off track!

This aged very poorly
The fact that we’re getting this before the race highlights is insane
At this point I'm watching Will's vids for race highlights, with the amount of action happening...
This IS the highlights.
@@seanmoguel8783did you watch the race bro?😭
Alonso watching Stroll's overtake while racing for a podium made me laugh for a solid minute 😂
You post faster than max can drive
If that was true the video would be out yesterday.
@@anusername8350 🤓🤓🤓
Max is already doing FP2 at Imola at this moment😂😂😂😂
@@143ba your the clown here
Hot take:
Miami put on a better race than Baku. Really shows how screwed up the season has been up to this point.
not really a hot take this season, i think everyone would agree with you on that one
You wouldn’t be saying this if Max hadn’t started P9
@BubberDucky I fell asleep during Baku. The racing throughout the midfield was great at Miami.

@@watersnortmoment3734 I fell asleep watching the Australian GP thanks to those 3 red flags. And here’s my review on it with me falling asleep in it

Alonso in your title intro is aging super well. Like unbelievably well.
This race was fine. It had some battles, some overtakes, some alternate strategies. It wasn't an all time classic by any means, but I didn't feel like I wasted my time by paying attention to it. Plus it's noteworthy that this is only the 14th race in F1 history to have all drivers classified.
I think the TV coverage didn't help. Looking at the names on the leaderboard you see them moving around but almost none of that was shown on TV. So a lot of the racing didn't get shown.
I'm torn. On one hand Adrian Newey's rocketship gliding past opponents is a thing of beauty. On the other, it's turned the entire championship into a farmer's league.
That just means the rest of the grid needs to step up. Aston is only hope from the looks of it tho
Just like merc for like 7 years.
@@beastunleashed657 aston just been stealing everyone staff with better money and a better position to tempt them over
@@brendanzhang7488 I mean it's a valid strategy
If Stroll can improve himself just a bit, you'd have the two Astons absolutely capable of mixing it up with the Ferraris and Mercedes, and yeah likely beating them. And if Haas could figure out strategy, seriously how are they so bad at it, they could be up there given they showed they aren't actually slow at all. Sure the top two are settled, but that doesn't mean you can't have great racing behind them.
No DNFs and no safety car was impressive, though. I must confess-I was honestly expecting a certain Alpha Tauri or Williams to “find the wall”. Or at least a Haas or a Ferrari. Shocking that we got none of that.
I really needed you to comment on Lando’s HORRID attempt at growing facial hair which everyone is failing to talk about.
or russels total lack of any facial hear
@@ErikVananrooij Russell is a mulvaney that's he gets along well with Lewis's helmet
Funfact: each weekend this year Alonso got exactly 15 points
And he predicted Max would catch up to him in 15 laps. This means something! 😉
@@strayling1 he predicted in 25 laps)
@@AnoesGames That'll teach me to trust the commentary ...
Max: crosses the finish li-
Will: *drops new vid*
Hahah yep pretty proud with my pace on this one
If Red Bull and Max win the title, just have Danny Ric enter a race or several.
That comment aged pretty good actually
The fact that HAAS out qualified merc had me laughing all night
The yuki p11 p10 streak continues :)
This was one of the better races this season. Which says a lot. Also, I know I’m gonna get flack for saying this but I don’t think this track is that bad. Pretty solid racing in the midfield
I agree with about both the race and the track
this was FAST
The race lasted longer than any other race this year, a good 15 laps. Then it was the usual one man show.
Colton Herta's tweet...f'ing gold.
Hey don't hate on Albon, he is too pure, unlike his team lol
Thanks for getting this up so fast, this is the first GP I’ve ever gone to and had a blast.
The joke with max and his ego not fitting into the car I can’t 😂😂😂
Will... later this week would love to see a nascar comedy review. It was WILD this week
Did you hear Hinch color commentary during the race where he marveled that Alonso could handle a "plan A minus 12" pit hint? I'm still laughing. He was so serious about how impressive "minus 12" is for an equation that he repeated it in the post race with Will.
I am officially a peace of plastic filled with hot air.
You should do one on the NASCAR race today. It was better in every way than the F1 race
Ngl this was the only part of this weekend that I was looking forward to
The race or the review 😂

Thanks man!
In my opinion Miami was actually good, it had excellent midfield fighting. Which is something that we really didn’t have at most races under the old regs when Mercedes were at their most dominant. Don’t get me wrong the race wasn’t an all time classic by any means but it was definitely a lot better than Baku.
'Baku's buddy' my favorite nickname for GR 😀
This track would be a great Formula E track tbh
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Amazing, better than watching the race! F1 should hire Will to make their highlights!
I was so hoping Leclerc would park it at T6 again. The 5 Live broadcast caught every overtake, and the conusion mix of excitement/confusion both when Man United were losing and then lost, and then somehow even more confusion/excitement at K-Mag being pretty damn good and on pace, being able to get past Leclerc and the Ferrari. I'm always impressed with the Five Live crew and do miss Jenny Gow though, hopefully she gets well enough to return this year in some capacity.
Also that three wide move, shades of Spa 2000
Dude u were so quick with the upload hell yeah
Patiently waiting for monaco Eprix comedy review
Cheers will for making F1 entertaining
Hilarious video. Keep up the good work.
You did well considering the content available this weekend! I woke up for the start and then went back to sleep once max was running second. Thanks for filling the in gaps!
Haha yeah was watching the race thinking how the hell am I gonna make a joke out of this 😂
so i take it you just love to see the top 2/3 teams racing and have no clue what is going on the mid field and back markers in which was a great battle. however it was like clubbing a seal but to find 2 drivers from the same teams told to fight out with their team looking forward to it as the fans just show you have no clue who good this race was too F1 as whole
Well the broadcast ignored most of the passing and what was going on during the race. I mean watching Sky Sports F1 coverage, they didn't eve comment on how a Haas without DRS could stay ahead of a Mercedes with DRS and what that means for Mercedes speed.
@@laurenmp7486 of course they didn't l.... they are British and kiss up to merc.
it reminded me of the hamilton years ,,, but i can not remember when he pulled of a from 9 to win against rosberg or bottas that left then in 2nd place so he most likely did not managed that feat .
This race was better than Baku, but F1 needs to figure it out or most of the races are going to be snooze fests
I really love your sense of humour, keep up the great work.
What speed is a F1 car doing when it reaches the start line from the back of the grid?
Thanks Man!!!! Well done as usual. This one was kinda boring and I am a RedBull fan lol.
Comedy from this snoozer was a challenge, Will. Well done!
The 1st of Checo's 4 home races. Did anyone cheer for Sargeant? Miami's his actual home town. Crickets. . .
And check wont win any of the 4 most likely.
I'm 90% sure you film these before the race just because this season is so predictable
Finally, a good fucking race
When a review is more interesting than the actual race .... again.... 😉🤷🏻♂️
Now your your Albon line...100 bars of 24K solid gold. In a Bahamian-based Swiss bank vault.
'comedy' review is pushing it. Light-hearted maybe.
Glad I subbed
excellent video, dud, relly enjoyed it and glad I found your channel
* sorry "Dude" not Dud
Thanks man!!
Indycar > F1
The Miami stands were half empty. Silverstone is always full. Guess which one gets threatened with end of contract?!?
It’s not about how full the stands are, it’s about how much they are willing to pay to stay in the calendar. If anything it just shows how bad Silverstone management is, they have full stands and can’t keep up with the fees while Italy can host two races
So they can give and take DRS zones within a race weekend but they can’t switch the length back to where they were before. That doesn’t make any sense.
2:03 oh my god you f**king killed them hahahahahahahah
I’m sad you didn’t touch the driver introduction thing, other than that great job as always
That opening ceremony was totally cringe. Unforgivable. Might switch to being a Max fan now.
The American races are better, so that means you're going to be covering the Indy 500. I'll there 😊
The Albon joke 🤣
23 is definitely the year of tge snoozefest. F1 working hard are curing insomnia.
i’m a merc fan and made fun of people for complaining about merc domination. now that red bull is, i now understand why people hated the merc domination
the comedy review was way better than that cringey crap pre-race. That was awful!
Great comedy review mate. 5/5!
Thanks!!
I don't know if you'd do this, but maybe you could make a comedy review for a NASCAR Cup Series race. The past race at Kansas was really entertaining and they frequently have good races. It'd be cool to see considering F1 has been a snoozefest lately. Anyways great vids as always man!
The worst F1 races are far better than the best NASCAR races
@@HitnRunnn Did you watch the Kansas race today? Multiple passes throughout the field and a last lap pass for the win. How can that be worse?
I love seeing Peter Barber's name as a Patreon supporter. That is if he is of the Birmingham,Al Barber family.
Much better than Baku. Atleast there were some ivertakes till the end. Baku became a snoozefest after the pitstop.
I still don't know how the hell you post so fast
Considering the FPs and Qualis, I find it really strange and surprising no one binned it in the race. Like... really!? The one of precious few races to be noted for the fact that every car that started the race finished it as well.
I get inbetweeners vibes from the opening haha
Outside of turn 1 inside of turn 2
This video upload was fast just like the rb19
That like a w10
That driver presentation needs to be talked about tho.. never ever do that again.
I actually did fall asleep for about 5 to ten laps and woke up to see max in second and about to take the lead. 😂😂
Pathological fear when on lead pole--- Leclerc's watch
2:34 Just gonna say 116 at the MONACO e-prix. F1 in Miami got, well nothing near that and when F1 turns up to Monaco later this month, it'll be a celebration if they reach 2% of the number. Think I know which series is more entertaining...
Love how arguably the only two things that saved this race from being a Baku level snoozefest were Charles Leclerc and Kevin Magnussen
Painful race to watch, love the sport but it clear the regulations haven’t had the effect they wanted. Even in the LH days of domination the mid pack racing was still epic, more like slot car racing now.
Yeah i think a lot of it comes down to the cars being so much bigger and heavier compared to 2014-16, which we’re still dominant, but we had stuff going on. We need these regulations but in a far smaller package
Actually Pit will be driving an F2 made up to look like an F1
Nice video, and also, hey what you did first managed to age well! The fact the TV broadcast didn't bother showing a bunch of passing didn't help matters. Also a Mercedes with DRS couldn't pass a Haas without DRS, for several laps. And then Ferrari ditto. Which tells you just what level of struggle Mercedes and Ferrari are at, also that if Haas ever figures out strategy they could actually be an issue. Seriously, Haas just really can't get strategy right at all. And also, how TF slow are Mercedes if a Mercedes with DRS can't just go past a Hass in a lap or two?
These car park races are never good. I feel like I'm witnessing the slow demise of F1. Pretty on point review tbf
Leclerc FP2: Oh look, a wall. I'm going to park there.
Leclerc Quali: I remember that parking spot, I'mma park there again, reverse entry.
Me hoping Leclerc would do the same for the race and spice things up.
The race: BORING!
I don't understand why people say this race was boring... unless you're ferrari fan...
I enjoyed that race, it won't get more interesting going forward bar Hungary probably.
I’ll be at Hungary at least 😅 so that’s something 😂
The race was boring but it somehow managed to be better than Baku
The TV broadcast managed to make it more boring, there was a bunch of passing during the race but in true F1 fashion, most of it was never shown.
Unfortunately, there has been nothing comedic about this season. Please, can we get an exciting race!
A race circuit?? Man what are talking about. This circuit is a formule E circuit in everything
I'm watching this channel's race highlights instead of the official F1 channel, it's all because of the red flag meme 😂
Lance is a sTROLL 😂, I finally get it!
Name a more iconic pair than Alonso and scoring 15 points in a 2023 raceweekend. GO!
And I thought that Baku was a borefest...
you missed the fact that this was the first GP in russels career that he did not whine about somebody not being safe
I was accidentially early and got to watch the pre race show. It was the only time I've seen a F1 live chat having the exact same opinion in that it was pure cringe.
I need to know that red flag song
Nyck Debris.
🤣

What is going on this season Miami was a better race than baku
There is a hairline crack in Ferrari’s rear wing… Permission to fix and next year they will have the best, most tasty and most expensive food and be the fastest on the straights
Your US humor is pretty good. This Yank will stick around.
The new track must have been too slippery. 40℃ track and no dnf. Those cars weren't able to be used to their potential. Pity
miami prerace was cringe
Nice one. Any thoughts on the idiot who forgot to wave the finishflag on time ?
besides the two cringe worthy crap that happened before the actual race(1)LL Cool J and the greatest example for why Europeans think Americans are a pretentious county of one uppers 2) Michael Andretti STILL whoring himself out on the grid for a new opportunity to look pretty pathetic). NOTHING left to work out in the 20+ round championship; RB/Max is just wayyy to dominate and he has as much chance losing out on his 3rd, as someone like Yuki has of getting a win. Really makes me feel like Indycar is the much better product on track this year. Alnost EVERY F1 race this year has been a complete wash. i miss that excitement like we had in 2021
