Heels dominated this tournament. Their smallest margin of victory was 12 points! What made the win even sweeter was every sportscaster on CBS picked Michigan State because of the "home court advantage" (all the ESPN guys picked Carolina)
does CBS know that there are 65 teams in the tournament? 99% of this is the same six or seven teams; did they lose all the footage from the first two rounds?
the 2012 uk team only beat unc by one point and the 2009 unc would have destroyed the 2012 unc team so i woud say the 2009 tar heels were the best team since 2000 imo.

This UNC team has got to be the best team of the last decade. Way better than 2011 UConn and 2010 Duke. The only team that might beat them would be 2007 Florida and I still think the Heels would've beaten them.

Unbelievable that CBS ruined a classic this year. They had the best tournament in recent memory. They had early round thrillers, huge upsets, a great cinderella story, and one of the best championship games in decades. "One Shining Moment" is supposed to put the beautiful cap on an amazing three and a half weeks of sports. What CBS did this year is like being lucky enough to find the finest bottle of wine in the world and then using poison as a cork.

Why doesn't CBS still do the piano interude ("On Golden Street" I believe) to "One Shining Moment"? That was way better than Greg Gumbel simply telling the audience "Okay, here's "One Shining Moment!"

@uscdom You must have never played basketball, or done anything with passion.... these kids work so hard and would run through a brick wall for their coaches... that moment is a kid coming out of a game knowing it's his last... and his coach doing what any real coach would do, thank him for all he has given you and show him that he cares about him.
nc has cost MSU 3 natl champion ships since 1999.. the thorn in their side..they always play their best vs MSU even in a regular season game while state does not play bad ..
And OSU vs Pitt was an excellent game until about 1:00 to go in the game. It's always nice to have a decent title game and not a blowout, but I figure MSU was just out of gas.
