There are clues in the theme song that elude this theory. Hence how Zack is always breaking the fourth wall and getting away with all the stuff he does because it's not real only a dream. Ironically Ferris Buellers Day Off which was the inspiration for Zack breaking the fourth wall is also believed to be a dream sequence coming from the mind of Cameron Frye LOL! Hey man this is the Galaxy Quest of Saved By The Bell. Instead of Thermians we have hardcore Bayside LARPers. I'd be thrilled to play out a scene with one of childhood heroes given the chance. I'd pick Christopher Lloyd to do a ride along in a DeLorean or jam with Tony Iommi. Dennis Haskins is underrated and I hope you give him a proper episode on his acting tenure. And Damn the man, save The Empire.

I like the idea, if not the specifics of Reconsidering Rod. The continuity would have to be bizarre, because Rod is an actual -- if fictional -- douche, and you simply can't un-ring that ... umm ... bell. Politics is starting to ruin absolutely everything, but it's interesting to see this video today, as we watch in real time, the corporate media trying to convince us that a candidate for president never was who she is, and has always been someone she isn't. There is a benign Chinese curse you may have heard: May you live in interesting times. We do.
Regarding your point on the media: When the focus is on making money, corporate media has to make everything a hot button issue. Reality has to be sensationalized to fill a 24-hour news cycle. The probable truth is that most of life is pretty dull and that neither side is as vile as the other side wants to paint it, but we can never know because commercialization just screams so loud. Some things are blatant lies while some things are alarmingly true. But how can we tell one from the other? And I hadn't heard that Chinese curse, but it certainly fits... everything.
Seeing Dennis at the end of the film hit me in the heartstrings. I miss when media did that to me more often.
It was a real treat that Save the Empire was able to get him to appear. Big props for that!
