My husband and I took our kids on this train the week before (May 18th) for our 20th anniversary celebration since we’d gotten married on this train. He surprised me with tickets to the Jesse James Railroad Excursion package that they do (we used to play the part of “marshals” when we worked as security guards at the State Farm complex further up the tracks), and the kids even got to climb up on this engine and watch them stoke the firebox while they were in the yard. This sweet engine made the ride even more authentic for the program, and the weather cooperated beautifully!
I got a video of the train pulling into the station, but not any of the ride itself-I was too busy enjoying the day. Great footage, and excellent narration!
