2:57 *that leak is fake.* It was piggybacking off another officially leaked info from early 2018 that claimed Crash had a 5-year plan, and said that N'Sane Trilogy was coming to Switch and PC in 2018 (which happened) and that a new Crash game would be coming out in 2019 (came out in 2020, but plans change). This new "leak" literally came out a few months ago and just listed everything that has already happened for the past 4 years PLUS "Crash in Smash"... and there's no source behind this "leak" either other than "trust me dude". You literally just compile a list of everything that has happened and just append a "Crash in Smash" at the end and people blindly follow it because they get hope. Let me explain why it's fake: 1) There was another very credible Activision leak from March 2020 that was right about a lot of their upcoming games like: Tony Hawk Proskater Remastered, CoD 2020 (which became Cold War), MW2 Remastered, all of which happened. The leak also mentioned Crash: Wrath of Cortex Remaster, and a new PvP Crash game. Assuming this info is correct and plans haven't changed, why didn't the so-called "Crash in Smash leak" mention these other Crash games? If it were legit, it would be realistic, not a wish list. 2) Why release Crash in Smash at the _end_ of the 5-year plan? It makes more sense to include him midway so that Activision can actually capitalize off the massive hype that Crash in Smash would generate. 3) How could Activision have known back in 2017 that Smash Ultimate would have a Fighters Pass 2 that stretched into 2021 when it probably wasn't even planned until 2019? 4) There's been a few hints about Crash 4 coming to Switch, and it honestly it just makes sense that Activision would release the game on Switch as well, but they deliberately delay Switch ports by a whole year to maximize profits... anyways, why doesn't this so-called "leak" mention Crash 4 coming to other platforms in 2021? It does that for Crash N'Sane Trilogy, so you'd expect the same with Crash 4. Yeah, it's totally bogus! I'm not saying Crash in Smash is off the table, but this leak is definitely fake.
I would stick with the original Naughty Dog-developed Crash Bandicoot video games. I would stick with Crash 1, 2, 3 and Crash Team Racing (CTR). I would avoid the non-Naughty Dog-related Crash games if I were you.
I plan on getting the Switch version soon. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the patience to collect everything. Especially in the N.Verted levels. But I'll try and get as much as I can.
I managed to get the Nsanely perfect relic on cortex castle unintentionally by trying to get tge three deaths or less gem and get all the boxes in one go, expecting to die. But i didnt die
To say Crash Bandicoot 4 was a mistake would be an understatement. So many wasted oppurtunities for Crash bosses like Tiny and Papu Papu given all the dimension hopping and the purple gem is gone. The N Sanely Perfect / time trial relics add s such unnecessary difficulty spikes that make the game hard for the sake of being hard and to the point of being unfair and no fun whatsoever. How is anyone supposed to get through a level flawlessly when levels are lengthy and some boxes are sadistically hidden? It expects players to do the impossible. Toys for Bob clearly cared more about making people rage than letting them have fun. How did the company go from Spyro Reignited Trilogy to this trainwreck? I can't believe I got so hyped for this game.
Twinsanity was really fun, and the Huge Adventure on the GBA was also fun, as well as N.Tranced which was the sequel to that game, the DS version of Crash of the Titans is better than the GBA and Home console release, but other than that, skip the other games unless you really want to play Nitro Kart
