Good comparison. Once i was in train n i forgot my bose earpods with excellent noise cancellation.I used apple earphones and they r pathetic...all the train noise was filtering into my ears, music hearing was very mess, forget the calls i was not able to hear anything from the otherside

If you are happy with the sound of the apple wired EarPods then I wouldn’t waste your money. But if you decide you want a back up or just a smoother well rounded sound check out the Wan er’s . All the best !
