Seeing your pond makes me regret not setting up an aerator in my wicking bed this year. I even bought a set of new backup-batteries to last 4 hours but didn't install the air-lines. Wish I had space for a pond but I don't have the land for the required setbacks.
Eventually, I may add one, but in Florida, it heats up the pond. right now I made a pond pump diffuser that sits in the water and circulates the water with air bubbles. does not add any heat.
