My Name is Jerry and I'm 76 years old and I live in Olive Branch, Ms. I've got a 5th wheel camper that I go camping with and pull my 18 ft ALWELD fishing boat rigged with a Minnkota ulterra 24 volt trolling motor and find fish with a Garmin 93SV ultra color touch screen w/live scope on it's own little post on the side of the boat (hand operated) . I don't get to go fishing when I want to, cause I have to have my oldest son (who works a lot) or somebody that I can get to go with me during the week to help me put the boat in and out of the water. I really like this video of fishing with crawfish next to that retainer wall on the river probably the Tennessee river. I've been watching every video that you make for about a year now and I love the crappie fishing video's under those bridges and open water fishing that you do too. You are my favorite fisherman bar none! If you ever have a fishing place that you've wanted to try in Mississippi like Sardis Lake , Enid Lake or Grenada Lake just let me know and I'll meet you there and you can stay with me in the camper and fish as many days and make as many videos you want . I'd be glad to spend some time with you sitting up front in my stick steer boat just finding brush piles and good crappie spots , so you can come back later and make some good videos of you catching those crappie and I'll know where they are too. I like fishing most of the time by myself too, but I know we could have a HOOT! fishing in the same boat sometime. God bless you and Elmo , my friend and keep those good videos coming!!! I fish that place all the time but mostly catching white bass and panfish, that’s what separate amateur and experienced . I never knew so many bass under that water lol

My grandpa showed me the simplest method there is. Find a creek you know had crawfish in it and take a true gunny sack and put some chicken liver in it. Drop it in the creek and when the crawfish come up clamp down on it they Pinchers get stuck and they can't get off. Pick up the sack and pluck them off. Simple.
Research or learn how to do things people! Do you want him to reel the fish in and clean them fer ya!? His videos are inspirational! Do something on your own because it's GOOOOOOOOOOD Fer Ya!

I've fish with crawdad but that's ingenius. You "declaw" the craw without ripping the claws off. Then you kept the craw ALIVE without hooking into the crawdad. Simple but effective. That alone deserves a sub from me, a crawsub. Thanks for the knowledge.

I've never lost a toenail before, but, when I was in 9th grade, somebody whose name I won't mention came up behind me, trying to play a prank on me, and slammed my locker shut! He wasn't trying to hurt me, but what happened was, is that the locker slammed right onto my left middle finger! Blood shot everywhere! I ended up losing that left middle fingernail. It hurt like the dickens!!! Eventually, it grew back, but it took several months for it to grow back to the proper length. Nail-type injuries, whether it's a toenail, or a fingernail, hurt about the worst of any kind of pain that either you or I can imagine!

I did similar with a (snake food) white 🐁 mouse from the pet store. Tossed him out on to the Lilly pads, BLAM!

Me and my kids went out and caught a bunch of Crawfish this summer. Left them on porch and raccoon ate them all🤣
Where do you get those craws?
Buy a minnow trap and bait it with dog food or some meat scraps
We used 3 litter coke bottles when they had them. Cut top off. Turn it around backwards and fasten it with fishing line through 3 equally spaced holes. Tie a long line to it and put some kind of meat in it. Fill it w water and toss it out in a small creek. Tie line off to limb or something and come back every couple days to check it. Just be mindful of snakes in warmer weather. They will get in it to eat what’s trapped and get stuck.
You don't have to feed them and they'll live like that for weeks? Really?

Crawfish is an awesome bait! Last year I did Richard genes tricks with crawfish using the rubber bands and no weight, and caught so many catfish last August. And I did a little experiment with floats on crawfish and it works with pond bass and cats! And watching the bobber vanish from a bite of a 5 or 10 pound bass or cat is a wicked feeling! And I enjoy genes videos cause I learn something knew 🎣
