You know, Florencio's kinda like the Starcraft equivalent of a mid-life crisis.
You start off thinking the game's actually going to be helpful, only to discover that everything you thought was right is now wrong, and you're trapped. Somehow, ridiculous damage is being done on both sides of the map, your SAN points are dropping, and then you die to the Golden Armada. But, if you manage to hold on through first few minutes without falling into depression, you find out that there was never really anything to be scared of in the first place.
I think that's not mid-life crisis but teenagers crisis...
@@michatomczyk6813 I'm not sure where you live in the galaxy, but around these parts, dying via total immolation caused by high-powered, plasma-based weaponry is not so common as to happen to teenagers; you must be at least in your late 20's to experience that exquisite brand of agony. Just like with Blizzard games, death in the Koprulu sector is time gated.

Definitely not teenage crisis. Teenagers either assume they're immortal and know everything, or feel like they don't belong anywhere or understand what to choose in life (the crisis).
The Starcraft equivalent would be to come as a newbie Terran with 10 APM into an 8 player ffa vs 7 Zerg and be clueless trying to figure out if you should Expand (to another city), Research Upgrades (to improve economy), or Attack (your crush with a confession) to be successful in the game (of life).
@@Erafune I thought midlife crisis was more about realizing that you have nothing you're striving toward and becoming depressed because you're bored. I could see teenagers crisis being more dramatic as that's the stage in life when you start to become an adult and realize you've made some poor life choices.

That definitely seemed like a standard Florencio game. Entertaining, as always, but standard.
I mean voids as a follow up to such a cannon rush is a smart move. Zerg needs to break out of the contain, the 2 standard ideas for that are roach/ravager or swarmhost, and both are not ideal against voids
Pretty typical Florencio PvZ except for the mothership.
The second game is what I imagine alphastar's games started like

Remember that pvp is the best matchup for probe rushes.
almost certainly not. Alphastar AI will always realize the exact number of probes regardless how perfectly stacked and act accordingly so any AI's that would have tried this would die out.

As a filthy gold all-racer, I only ever do cannon rushes, 5 minute prism chargelot one-bases, and the occasional proxy Chad ray when I'm toss. Despite all 3 builds being extremely cheesy, only the void ray one gets people yelling at me in chat.

@Oliver Hancock I know, but there are only so many units you can add to them and a control group can only hold a single building. That's huge

Just always start Cannon/Spine/Bunker vs Protoss and it'll be fine.
Transition into Cannon/Spore/Turret in the mineral line and it'll be great.
thats not very efficient, what do you mean by "always start X vs protoss"? thats a great way to ruin your build, youre doing more damage to yourself than the enemy.
theres a proper way to deal with all kind of cheese and theres a lot of guides out there of how to counter them.

You guys should check out Florencio's stream sometime, he asks his stream chat for input for which youtuber he sends replays to. Also his stream is super chill bob ross style...Florencio really is a wonder painter.

I never get florencio. He seems to have always the upper hand, a total upper hand with his canons and could have won if he pressed on. But then he abandons , leaves his canons to die and forgets to reinforce other exits and ends in trouble.. then does a gigantic comeback.. but then .. last time I played I was barely a gold player.
This is all a mindgame to the sewer mermaid, he will give you a false sense of security and bravado that you have staved off his well executed cannon rush, counter attack and see his one base, go all out thinking you have won, but you had no clue that chad rays are looming in the corner of the map, ready to pounce on your futile no static defense base at a maximum speed of 2 miles per hour.

Winter i really really got a good game you should cast where can i send it. My oppnent was a smurf called ARE you CRYINYG. And he was trying to get his mmr down by joining then leaving. My name is GGEZ plat 1 zerg/protos on EU. So i wisperd him wow that was easy. So he custom matched me. Talked trash all the way. Then he cannon rushed me he is like diamond rank. Wont spoil the ending buts its the funniest game i have ever played could i send it yo you with a picture of the BM ?
