Who needs to waste 50/50to research warpgate when you can just recall
Instead of warpgate you can make a probe, and that's like a thousand minerals of income. Why waste 1k mins on crappy warpgate.
if you are not really on top of your warp cycles you can produce more troops that way
i think the reason he does this is so he can queue up his units so he can spend his apm on micro

The ressources are lost just like when a probe/VCS/drone dies with ressources in his hand !

i play starcraft since 1997... even play starcraft before they release broodwar, and i can say.... never underestimate the lack of use for all the resources that the game offers :D. anyways, i love urs vids... and love the ones with florencio in it, is like come back to the good all days for the broodwar cheese.

Small novella here. I started watching Winter years ago with the beginner into sc2 videos. I stopped playing regularly because of life. I found PiG because I enjoy watching sc2 tournaments. Found the Florencio Files, which was and still is the best of his uploads. Now, Winter is getting in on the game. If you are reading this, sub FLo. HE does crazy shit. Now with T and Z.
Edit: This is for Winter. FLo gives the element of loss just to give the opponent some hope. For the memes. Dangle the carrot. He doesn't like quick games. Spread all the salt.

can you build a 2nd mothership if ur first is neural parasited?
You can test it in "LOTV Unit Tester" under Arcade ;)
Unfortunately, this is not the case. Even if the mothership has been neuraled, it is still considered your own 'heroic" unit, and until it is dead, you cannot build another.To think of it in another way, you can only have as many motherships on the battlefield as their are Daelaam commanders.

I both love and hate watching Florencio's matches. He's creative and takes a non traditional approach, but almost always does stuff that frustrates me, as well.

Why does FLORENCIO not get Warp gate? I mean, is there a story behind it?
yeah, in one of his videos he explains that people are stuck with warp gate technologies and never explore new ways of strategies. As an old Brood War veteran he feels obligated to do not so. Check his Channel, it is kinda mind exploding how in depth those strategies really are thought out.
